Google released the Ripple open source radar standard, and Ford Motor Co. co-developed it

Whiplash January 8 news, according to the interface quoted foreign media news, Google launched an open source API standard called Ripple, this standard was developed by Ford Motor co-development, for electronic equipment and even cars and other products.

Ripple is sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the industry body that hosts the CES show in Las Vegas every January, but it's Google that's really driving the project.

Ivan Poupyrev, head of Google's ATAP (Advanced Technologies and Projects) division, said: "Ripple benefits everyone. Universal radar is an emerging technology that addresses critical issues in a way that respects privacy. The predecessor of Ripple may reportedly be the "Standard Radar API" proposed by Google a year ago.
