All the friends who have some understanding of the "Heroic Martyrs of Red Rock" have all admired Chen Ran's deeds, of course, this is due to the depiction of Chenggang in the long novel "Red Rock" on a large scale. Although the space described in Chenggang is very limited, we are deeply impressed by his youthful demeanor and wisdom in the struggle against the enemy, especially the details of his calm and calm printing of the "Advance Newspaper". However, "Chen Ran the Advancer" boldly abandons the existing artistic foil, focusing on Chen Ran starting from a naughty teenager with a wealthy family, realistically portraying the tests he faced in the cruel struggle between blood and fire, and gradually growing into a determined revolutionary, such writing has more authenticity and agility from social life, and at the same time, it also makes us think more rationally.

I once asked Hu Yanbing about the original motivation for creation, and his statement was simple and earnest: Chongqing's red cultural elements and historical figures and events can be described as rich and colorful, chen Ran is a particularly legendary person in this group portrait, and the current field of novels has not yet a work that fully reflects the hero, and he wants to fill this gap.

"Chen Ran the Advancer" is based on being as close as possible to the original appearance of the characters, combing a large number of historical materials to find a unique art channel, the novel fully shows his self-confidence in opening and closing in the structure of the plot and the laying out of events, at the same time, the author's double-line plot evolution and hooking in writing adds a different kind of interest to Chen Ran's short and fierce life.
