There are two well-known bull demons in the Journey to the West World, both of whom have been enemies of the Sutra Team, but the Jade Emperor treats them with very different attitudes.
The first cow demon was the Green Cow Spirit.
Qingniu Jing is the mount of The Daozu Taishang Laojun, riding on the guard boy is not prepared, the netherworld to the Golden Hood Cave as a demon, coveting the meat of Tang Monk, and designing to capture Tang Monk.
Qingniu Jing is not Sun Wukong's opponent, but Sun Wukong comes to jindou Cave to save Tang Monk, but is defeated and fled by Qingniu Jing.
Why? Because qingniu jing has a top magic weapon in his hand, this treasure is used by Taishang Laojun to transform Hu into a Buddha, which can set everything in the three realms, naturally including Sun Wukong's golden hoop stick. Sun Wukong's golden hoop stick was taken away, and his combat effectiveness was sharply reduced, and he was defeated by qingniu jing.
Sun Wukong knew that King Kong was very powerful, so he asked the Heavenly Court for help, hoping that the Jade Emperor would inform Qingniu Jing of his background so that he could ask for help from his master.
Does the Jade Emperor know the background of Qingniu Jing? Of course, knowing that the Jade Emperor and Daozu were so familiar, what mount did Daozu ride, how could he not know?
But the Jade Emperor told Sun Wukong that he did not know the Qingniu Essence, and asked the immortals to check the file, but of course nothing was found.
But if sun wukong was dealt with in this way, the monkey would certainly not be satisfied, so the Jade Emperor had to send Li Jing, the king of Tota, to lead the heavenly generals to descend the netherworld.
However, The King of Tota and the Heavenly Generals were obviously just going through a formality, and when they saw that the weapons were taken away by King Kong, they immediately said that they could not fight, completely disregarding their high mana and many people, and immediately withdrew their troops back to the Heavenly Court.
Obviously, the Jade Emperor did not want to interfere with the difficulty of the Qingniu Essence, after all, the Qingniu Essence was Daozu's mount.
The second Cow Demon is the Bull Demon King.
The Bull Devil King is Sun Wukong's eldest brother, because Sun Wukong asked Guanyin Bodhisattva to surrender to the Red Child, and he holds a grudge against Sun Wukong, so when Sun Wukong borrowed a banana fan from him to extinguish the flame mountain fire, he would rather fight with Sun Wukong and offend the team than borrow a banana fan.
Since the Bull Demon King wanted to fight, Sun Wukong certainly didn't want to accompany him, but he didn't seem to be the opponent of the Bull Devil King.
He joined forces with the Eight Commandments of the Pig, as well as the Land Lord and the Yin Soldiers, and fought with the Bull Demon King for one night before a draw. Later, although it had a slight upper hand, it was only a small victory, and it was still far from surrendering the Bull Demon King.
However, just as Sun Wukong and his party and the Bull Demon King were inseparable, the sky suddenly changed color and the auspicious light shrouded them, and it turned out that it was Li Jing, the Heavenly King of Tota, and Nezha who led the Heavenly Soldiers to the Nether realm to help Sun Wukong descend to the demon. Finally, under the siege of the Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals, the Bull Demon King was finally surrendered.
Li Jing led the Heavenly Soldiers to lower the Nether Realm, of course, according to the Jade Emperor's holy will, but why did the Jade Emperor send troops to surround and suppress the Bull Demon King?
Qingniu Jing was in a difficult situation, Sun Wukong took the initiative to ask the Jade Emperor, the Jade Emperor was only perfunctory, and surrendered to the Bull Demon King, Sun Wukong did not ask for help from the Jade Emperor, but the Jade Emperor took the initiative to send troops to help, all this, is it really just because the Bull Demon King refuses to borrow a banana fan?
The answer is likely to be no. The Jade Emperor sent troops to surround and suppress the Bull Demon King, of course, nominally the Bull Demon King refused to borrow the banana fan and made enemies with the sutra team, and the real purpose should be to liquidate the sins committed by the Bull Demon King.
In addition to refusing to borrow a banana fan, the Bull Demon King also made an even bigger mistake, which was to call himself the Great Sage of Pingtian when he worshipped Sun Wukong.
What is wrong with calling yourself a Great Sage of Pingtian? Big mistake! What is heaven? In the mythological world, if the heavens are represented by a specific figure, there is no doubt that it is the Jade Emperor, the lord of the Three Realms. The Bull Demon King actually claimed to be the Great Sage of Pingtian, so didn't he want to sit on an equal footing with the Jade Emperor?
Just think, if a common man in the mortal world claimed to be a one-word king and wanted to sit on an equal footing with the emperor, wouldn't he be severely punished?
Some people must say that when the Bull Demon King and Sun Wukong worshipped, there were seven people, and everyone called themselves the Great Sage, so why did the Jade Emperor pursue the sins of the Bull Demon King?
Wasn't Sun Wukong, who called himself the Great Sage of Qi Tian, suppressed on the Five Elements Mountain and imprisoned for five hundred years? As for the other great saints, such as the Jiao Devil King and the Lion Camel King, who call themselves the Great Sage of covering the sea and the great sage of moving mountains, at best, they want to sit on an equal footing with the sea god and the mountain god, can they be compared with the Qi Tian Da Sheng and the Ping Tian Da Sheng?
