The appearance of the BMW III series is more classic, and it has only been fine-tuned for many years, with a double kidney front face, a straight waterfall grille, a hidden design on the side waistline, a double exhaust on both sides of the rear, and a slightly upturned tail. The overall shape of the BMW III series is more fashionable, but the edges and corners are not as sharp as the ES200.
The ES200 uses Yokohama tires, a 215mm width and 17 inches in diameter, with a non-full-size spare tire. The BMW III Series uses Pirelli tires, 225mm wide and 18 inches in diameter, which is also BMW's classic air-deficient tire, so there is no spare tire, even if it is at zero tire pressure, it can travel a certain distance to support the next repair shop. The BMW III Series tires have better grip and are more durable, and the ES200 has a thicker tread, quieter and lower fuel consumption.
The interior level of the two cars is half a pound eight two, at first glance it feels almost the same, suspension LCD screen, LCD dashboard, three-frame steering wheel, gear handle, nothing more than their own shape has a certain difference, the design of the buttons is a little different, the rest are similar. There is no point in having to be critical of the details. The important difference is the functionality, BMW III series is a full LCD instrument, and the 10.25-inch central control screen supports touch, but also equipped with GPS navigation, etc., while the Lexus ES is a 7-inch LCD instrument and does not support touch 8-inch ordinary LCD screen, when used can display vehicle information and convenience are completely behind the BMW III series.
ES200 body size 4975 * 1866 * 1447mm, wheelbase 2870mm, all imported models, positioned in medium and large sedan. It adopts front McPherson single suspension, rear multi-link independent suspension, front front drive drive, and the engine is a transverse platform. Combined with the two, the exterior and interior are flattened, all of which are one level, each with its own style, and there is no distinction between high and low. Tires are also a matter of opinion, and I think there is nothing wrong with comfort tires. Function and size and power performance gap is more obvious, Lexus ES200 in all aspects are slightly behind, especially the power performance, ES200 engine power 127KW is significantly greater than the BMW III series of 115KW power, but the transmission efficiency is far less than the BMW III series, may be the biggest gap between the two or in the sports model adjustment level is different!
