On January 6, the 2021 PANews PARTY Awards were announced, and the APENFT Foundation was selected as "Most Popular NFT Project of the Year". Launched by blockchain think tank PANews and CoinMarketCap, Nansen, and NFTSCAN, the awards campaign aims to select the most influential NFT projects of 2021 in multiple dimensions.

The PARTY AWARD annual awards, organized by PANews since 2020 and will be held this year for the second time, cover eight categories of games, NFTs, Web3.0, CeFi, DeFi, infrastructure, investment institutions and people of the year, and will be issued in the form of meta-universe NFTs.

According to the official website of the event, the award was selected from multiple dimensions such as annual data, project popularity, and community size. In the early community voting session, the APENFT Foundation received the top votes. In addition, the organizers of the event also announced the "Web 3.0 Application of the Year" award, and the Tron TRON founded by APENFT supporter Sun Yuchen was successfully selected.

It is reported that the APENFT Foundation was established in March this year, focusing on the blockchainization and NFT of artworks. Since entering the industry, the APENFT Foundation has successively reached cooperation with blockchain public chain and underlying technical support companies such as Tron, Ethereum, BTFS, etc., and has established partnerships with traditional art institutions Sotheby's and Christie's, and cooperated with the emerging NFT trading platform NiftyGateway. At present, the collection of the APENFT Foundation includes Picasso's famous work "Lying Naked With a Necklace", the Swiss national treasure Surrealist artist Giacometti's masterpiece "Nose", the crypto artist Beeple's "Ocean'sFront" and "ABUNBANCE" (5 paintings), and the complete set of NFT works of crypto artist Pak "Cube", "ROCKID87" and "Tpunk #3442", with a total value of more than 1 billion yuan.

In addition, the APENFT Foundation announced the establishment of a $100 million Art Dream Fund to identify, nurture and support potential high-quality NFT artists and artworks. The theme of the first call for the special fund, "Second Life", has been concluded recently, and a total of 13 works have been awarded, with a maximum prize of 20,000 US dollars.
