Li De was all Mongol. His father's name was Li Chaogui, a herdsman under the Mongol nobles. As a student exposed to new ideas, Li Dequan also participated in the patriotic parade of the May Fourth Movement. After graduation, in order to repay the church's support for her, Li Dequan returned to the school in her hometown to start teaching life. Li Dequan taught her students all the new ideas she had learned in college and was exposed to them. Feng Yuxiang returned to China with his family, but unexpectedly, the ship at sea caught fire, Feng Yuxiang and his daughter were killed, but his wife Li Dequan was saved. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Li Dequan was elected as the president of the All-China Women's Federation, and became the first minister of health in China under the appointment of the Party Central Committee, and she was also the first female minister of our country. Li Dequan, who took office, worked diligently for fifteen years, rain or shine, and has been working for the national health cause. Later, Li Dequan served as vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and his official rank was at the level of vice state.
Li Dequan was admired for his life of thriftiness and tenacity, and her son Feng Hongda was the commander of the North Sea Fleet. Received the title of Major General.
