The Jidu Automotive Robot Concept Car will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year and will be launched next year

During the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Baidu and Jidu jointly announced that the Jiji model is expected to be launched in 2023 and will become an automotive robot with L4 level autonomous driving capabilities. At the same time, the concept car of the product is expected to be officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.

At the Baidu Create 2021 (Baidu AI Developer Conference) held on December 27, 2021, Baidu founder, chairman and CEO Robin Li said that Jidu's automotive robot runs through the three product concepts of "free movement, natural communication, and self-growth".

The Jidu Automotive Robot Concept Car will be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year and will be launched next year

First, the car robot has the L4 level of automatic driving ability, can move freely;

Second, the accurate recognition of human-vehicle interaction and speech semantics allows cars and people to "communicate naturally", understand user emotions, and respond to user needs in real time;

Third, automotive robots can continuously optimize autonomous driving and intelligent cockpit experience according to user habits to self-learning and iteration, so as to achieve "self-growth".

From the traditional car form to the car robot, it reflects the in-depth concept of intelligence in the automotive field. Previously, Baidu, Jidu and Qualcomm jointly released the digital cockpit platform -8295, which is seen as an intelligent change to further expand the traditional accessories of vehicles. Tesla also announced a series of related results at AI Day last August.
