On January 5, 2022, GAC Aion LX PLUS, a model of GAC Group, was officially launched. Previously, GAC AION LX PLUS has been officially unveiled at the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, the new car is equipped with sponge silicon anode chip battery technology, and official data shows that its CLTC comprehensive working range can reach 1008km.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the latest family design language, the front face part adopts a large area of closed grille with a larger size headlight group, the lower bumper area is surrounded by silver, and the entire front face shape is more imposing and stylish.
On the side of the body, the smooth multi-line design adds to the flexibility of the body, and the new car adopts a unique two-color wheel rim, 20-inch star drill parameter sporting wheels, with hidden door handles; the rear of the body is still using through-type taillights, and the rear surround is equipped with a large size of black skid plate, the overall shape is young and sporty.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4835/1935/1685mm, a wheelbase of 2920mm, a length longer than the previous 4786mm, and the wheelbase is exactly the same as the current model.
In the interior part, the new car has not changed much compared to the current model, and still adopts a simple design style. The full LCD instrument cluster and two large screens in the central control office add to the technological sense of the entire cockpit. The central control screen size reaches 15.6 inches, built-in ADIG4.0 intelligent IoT system, which can achieve sensorless start, new AR real-world navigation, DMS + OMS cockpit monitoring and other functions, and the cockpit system chip is from the Qualcomm 8155 chip.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a lidar on the roof and above the left and right wheels, and the high-end model has a 10-speaker sound system, NAPPA leather seats, rear leg rests and other configurations.
In terms of power, the new car will provide different motors, the maximum power is 180kW and 360kW power version of multiple power versions for consumers to choose, peak torque of 350 Nm and 700 Nm; battery, AION LX PLUS uses sponge silicon anode chip battery technology, the official said that its 100 km acceleration time is only 2.9s. In terms of endurance, according to different configurations, the CLTC comprehensive working mileage of the new car is 600km, 650km and 1008km respectively.
