One of his capable generals was Gao Jie, nicknamed the Mountain Harrier, and He Renlong was a fellow of Shaanxi Mizhi, so he let Gao Jie and He Renlong negotiate surrender.
He Renlong said that it was okay to surrender, so he would send the grain and grass first.
As a result, this Gao Jie had the opportunity to get close to Li Zicheng's wife Xing Qiao'er, who was in charge of money and grain. He had long heard that Li Zicheng was beautiful and capable, and he was really charming and beautiful at first sight.

Regarding the deeds of Gao Guiying, there are many folk legends, and the literary master Yao Xueyan, in his novel "Li Zicheng", wrote Gao Guiying with flesh and blood, a hero of the towel.
