Nissan's new Qashqa domestic patent diagram exposed New design language / ride e-POWER hybrid system

Recently, we obtained a set of patented drawings of Nissan's new Qashqai from the relevant departments. From the picture, we can see that Nissan's new Qashqa adopts Nissan's latest design language, the overall design is very similar to That Jun, and the new car is basically the same as the previous version released overseas, but the exposure of this patent diagram also indicates that the new car is about to be mass-produced in China, and the previous overseas version of the model has been equipped with an e-POWER hybrid system, and there is already an e-POWER Xuanyi model in China, and it is expected that the same version will be introduced in China.

In terms of appearance, the new Qashqai was designed by the Nissan Design Europe team in central London, England, and we can see from the pictures that this may be the design language of the new generation of products of the foreign Nissan, which is more youthful and fashionable than the current design language. The size of the middle mesh shape is increased, the chrome decoration of the flat straight line makes the entire front face look very tough, and the two sides of the bumper also use a lot of straight lines, while making the entire front shape more aggressive.

The headlights adopt a "C" shaped design, straight lines and sharp edges and angles once again enhance the aggressiveness of the front face, from the picture we can see that the new headlights use a full LED light source design, the upper part is the daytime running lights, the lower half is the main light source.

Nissan engineers have developed an advanced headlight system that adjusts the shape of the beam based on road conditions and other road users. The beam is divided into 12 individual elements that selectively deactivate when an oncoming vehicle is detected. Thanks to this innovation, it can project a brighter beam farther and wider, yet the vehicles coming from opposite will not feel the glare.

The side lines also use a lot of straight lines, giving the side a very tough visual effect. From the picture, we can see that a straight waist line runs from the front of the car to the top of the taillights, making the side line look very smooth.

In terms of body size, the new car (overseas version of the model size) has increased its length/width/height by 35/32/25mm respectively and its wheelbase has been extended by 20mm compared to the current model, positioning itself as a compact SUV. (The current model size is 4410/1837/1593mm in length, width and height, and wheelbase is 2646mm.)

Compared with the current rounded shape, the design of the rear of the car looks really young, and a straight and three-dimensional line connects the two tail lights, so that the rear of the car not only looks wider, but also makes the tail have a better three-dimensional feeling. The tail light is still a flat straight line design, the shape and the current tianlai is more similar, but the use of full LED design on the light source, in short, the value of this tail is still very high, if the new Qijun can also adopt the new Qashqai design language, then the appearance of the whole car will be much younger.

The patent drawing does not have information on the interior design, but we can refer to the official diagram of the new overseas Qashqai before. From the pictures, we can see that the new car also adopts a new design language, which is closer to the styling design of Tianlai and Xuanyi. The large floating screen is more youthful and technological than the current screen embedded in the center console. In addition, from the material of the overall interior, a large number of leather wrapping and stitching are used on the center console, which is more advanced than the current model and even compared to the current natural sound.

The large central control screen measures 9 inches, and is equipped with the NissanConnect system inside, which includes functions such as navigation, entertainment and vehicle settings, and supports AndroidAuto and AppleCarPlay, and also introduces wireless AppleCarPlay.

The dashboard also uses a full LCD design, which measures up to 12.3 inches and can display navigation, entertainment, traffic or vehicle information. These can be controlled via the haptic dial switch on the steering wheel.

In addition to this, the new Qashqai is also equipped with a 10.8-inch head-up display (HUD) that provides the largest image size. Critical navigation, driver assistance and road information can be projected onto the windshield within the driver's line of sight.

In terms of other configurations, the new high-end model is equipped with remote control, heated seat massage in the front seat, 10-speaker BOSE audio, USB-A and USB-C interfaces, etc.

In terms of power, the new overseas Qashqai will use a micromix system composed of a 1.3 DiG-T gasoline engine and a 12V motor. Among them, the 1.3 DiG-T engine is divided into high and low power versions, high power versions of 156 hp, and low power versions of 138 hp. Thanks to the addition of a 12V micromix system, torque assist is available. In terms of transmission, the new car will be matched with a manual or CVT stepless transmission, and the high-end model will provide a four-wheel drive system.

In addition to the above power, the overseas version of the new Qashqai will also be equipped with e-POWER hybrid system. Since the e-POWER Xuanyi model has been introduced in China not long ago, it is believed that the new Qashqai will most likely provide a version equipped with e-POWER power when it is launched.
