At the end of 1981, we, the "Friends of Xinmin Evening News", held a grand party for the return of the Evening News at the Huangpu District Gymnasium: Chen Yi, then director of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered a congratulatory speech, Bai Yang, a film performance artist who returned to Shanghai from Beijing filming, expressed heartfelt congratulations with an original poem, and more than 30 artists in the literary and art circles, such as Ding Shi'e, Wang Wenjuan, Qiao Qi, Li Bingshu, yang Huasheng, made a performance for up to 3 and a half hours ...... This scene is as clear as yesterday!

In the past 40 years, the sea has been in the sand field, and the 40 years have undergone great changes.

In 2020, a disaster of new crown pneumonia swept the world, no one was spared, and the spread and development of the epidemic was far beyond people's understanding. In February 2020, the severe epidemic in Wuhan touched the hearts of hundreds of millions of people, at that time, I focused on the dynamics of the development of the epidemic every day, my heart was uneasy, and I constantly asked myself, what can I do in this battle without smoke of gunfire? I thought, the house people are not homely, the grounding can't help but make a sound, I can use the voice to participate in the battle! So, I set up my mobile phone in the study, read aloud the report on the fight against the epidemic, and joined the battle through social platforms to communicate with the voice. I further thought that there must be many colleagues who have the same mood as me and "have no way to serve the country", so I suggested that the "Shangying Actors Troupe" join hands with the Xinmin Evening News and recite the freshest information in the most sincere voice. A few days later, a special audio program on the fight against the epidemic was born, and from February 26 to March 17, a total of 20 texts were recited, which played a positive role in inspiring morale in solidarity with the fight against the epidemic.

In August of the same year, when the city's primary and secondary schools were about to open, I found that the three-free plastic bag book film sold on the market had many safety hazards, and even contained substances that affected development and carcinogens. How can we allow students to enter the school through security checks and wear masks, but allow harmful book wraps to enter the classroom with books to poison students?! Therefore, I submitted my manuscript to the editor of the Evening News Luminous Cup, and the Supplement Department deliberated and forwarded my manuscript to the Ministry of Science, Education and Health. After investigation, my letter to the evening newspaper and the reporter's interview were prominently published on the front page, which aroused widespread concern in society. The report was praised by the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee.

In October 2020, it was the golden wedding anniversary of my 50th marriage with my wife, and I went to Hangzhou in mid-October when I revisited my honeymoon. After returning, he wrote an article "Can Not Remember Jiangnan" which attracted widespread attention from readers. Many of the messages in the message area touched me, and some words of praise made me ashamed and urged me to forge ahead. Let me realize more deeply: the feelings of truth, goodness and beauty are eternal, and they are worthy of a big book!

2021 marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of Shanghai, and the 60th anniversary of the premiere of the movie "Soldier Station No. 51". During the National Day in 1961, I wrote "I Play Liang Hong", which was published in the "Luminous Cup" on October 3 of that year. It's been 60 years since I got into contact with the Evening News.
