In the cultural relics, the most excavated should be bronze, and when it comes to swords, there are very few unearthed, and the famous sword we know should be the rare national treasure level cultural relics "Yue Wang Gou Jian Sword", this sword is the current Excalibur in Chinese history, and it is also the most precious one in China's existing swords, and it is also known as the "first sword under the heavens", this sword is the Yue King Gou Jian of the Spring and Autumn Warring States Period. We know that the old opponent of the Yue King is Wu Wang Fuchai, Fu Cha also has a sword that has been passed down to this day, and his sword is more, so far there are six swords in Our country, but of these six, the most precious should be this one excavated in the Warring States Tomb in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, and how was this sword discovered?
This matter still has to be said in the 1970s, when it was a big period of archaeological excavations in China, when because of the land leveling movement, a lot of ancient tombs were found, and there were more tombs in the Warring States period in these tombs. The largest and most precious of these Warring States tombs found should be the Warring States Tombs in Hubei, which have the tombs of Marquis Yi of Zeng and the tombs of Chu of Jiangling are representatives of this. However, these two large tombs do not represent the ancient tombs of the Warring States of Hubei, and the tomb where fu cha's sword was found was discovered in 1972 on the Cai Po Hill in the north of the Shipo Brigade of Yugang Commune, Xiangyang County, Hubei Province, and a Warring States tomb accidentally discovered by the villagers was later named "Xiangyang Caipo No. 12 Warring States Tomb".
However, the tomb was not intact when experts looked at it in the past, and some tomb robbers drilled a 9-meter-deep robbery hole at the top of the mountain bag, which pointed directly to the burial chamber. When the experts found out, they were also terrified, worried that the tomb had been emptied by tomb robbers, or that the inside had been destroyed a lot. Later, under the leadership of expert and scholar Wang Jinsong, the Hubei Provincial Museum and the Xiangyang Regional Cultural Bureau and the Xiangyang County Cultural Bureau presided over the excavation work. Because there was no money to excavate the tomb at that time, archaeologists did not have the ability to ask local migrant workers to help, and had to clean up little by themselves.
Later, the teachers of the History Department of Wuhan University led more than 100 students of the seventh and second grades to actively participate in the excavation work, and while participating in the excavation work free of charge, they were also able to learn a lot of archaeological historical knowledge. Although a nine-meter-deep robbery cave was found, fortunately, this robbery cave did not pose a great threat to the tomb, and there was no trace of theft of the cultural relics inside. After several months of archaeological excavations, archaeologists have unearthed many precious cultural relics, and with the excavation of this batch of bronze artifacts, archaeologists are more and more aware of the preciousness of this ancient tomb.
Among the large number of bronze weapons excavated from the ancient tombs, archaeologists have determined that this is the tomb of a de facto great general of the Warring States, and as for whose tomb, the inscriptions on these bronzes do not introduce whose tomb it is, so this has become a mystery. However, among these prominent bronze weapons, the most precious is a warring states excalibur cast on a sword that "attacks Wu Wang Fuchai for his own use". From these texts, it can be judged that the first owner of this sword was Wu Wang Fuchai, so this sword is also known as the "Wu Wang Fu cha sword", which is collected in the Hubei Provincial Museum together with the Yue Wang Gou Jian sword.
So after the sword was unearthed, archaeologists said: This is another scientific unsolved mystery. Because of the special properties of the sword, but also the memory of the metal that is difficult to explain by modern science and the mystery of the alloy are very similar to the Yue King's sword. But why did this sword of the State of Wu appear in the State of Chu, and then experts consulted the historical data and speculated that it may have been in the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period, and the State of Wu had such an excellent "Excalibur" with its rich mineral resources and strong smelting strength. Because of the demise of the State of Wu, the sword was spread to many countries, and finally rewarded to a general of the State of Chu, who was buried with the sword after his death.
