With personal wisdom and firm confidence and perseverance, the painter overcame many difficulties, went deep into the mangy rainforest to repeatedly observe sketching, and finally made a major breakthrough in exploration and research creation!
Zou Caigan: Born in 1942, a native of Ningming County, Guangxi, he now lives in Sanya City, Hainan Province. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Gongbi Painting Society, a painter of the Hainan Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, a director of the Hainan Provincial Chinese Painting Society, a lifelong honorary president of the National Palace Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Taipei, and a former president of the Sanya Painting Academy. He has been selected for many national art exhibitions and published a variety of personal painting collections, making him one of the earliest pioneers of Tropical Rainforest Landscape Painting in China.
In the case that the rich techniques of the traditional landscape painting library for thousands of years cannot be used by reference, the painter created a new technique of "scaly armor" painting tropical rainforest to solve the big problem that the traditional landscape painting technique cannot paint the characteristics of the tropical rainforest landscape.
