Modern cars – four-wheeled robots

Hyundai recently unveiled its new product: a four-wheeled robot that can transport anything people want. In the press release, the model is called MobED and is shown to support a baby seat and a vertical display. The MobED features a simple rectangular platform design with four multi-angle steering wheels, each with an independent suspension system and 12-inch tires to handle different road conditions. Each wheel is equipped with 3 independent motorcycles, which not only provide power, but also control its steering, as well as control the walking posture of the entire car. The MobED is 67cm long, 60cm wide, 33cm high, weighs 50kg, has a top speed of 30km/h, and can travel for 4 hours when fully charged.

Han's Robot - Multi-Perception Autonomous Navigation Vehicle "MAV"

On December 17, Han's new mobile robot product MAV (Multi-sensing Autonomous Vehicle) was released in China. Spanish robotics company PAL – Mobile Collaborative Robot

Recently, Spain's PAL Robotics announced the launch of TIAGo OMNI++, a new member of the TIAGo robot family, a fully driven robot for mobile operations. The TIAGo OMNI++ is equipped with an omnidirectional drive with 3 degrees of freedom McName wheels. These give robots 360-degree motion and more flexibility than ever before. TIAGo OMNI++ is a two-handed platform with interchangeable end effectors, 360-degree lidar, and a screen. The goal is to create a platform that is easy to configure and can meet the research needs of any robot.

Bollore & Botsync – Autonomous mobile robots

The Singapore branch of the French logistics company Bollore is working with Botsync Robotics singapore to develop the MAG300 Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), which includes a cart that can be easily carried by employees, traditional material handling equipment (MHE) or the robot itself. The automation solution makes it easy to move from manual to site automation while minimizing process changes and disruptions. The MAG300's collision avoidance system is equipped with multiple sensors at the front and rear, capable of detecting any moving or stationary object up to five meters away and quickly adjusting its route to avoid it.

Sugino Machinery – a small tracked robot

Recently, Sugino Machinery released a small crawler robot for water spraying operations, which improves work efficiency through semi-automated operation. The small crawler robot dedicated to water spraying is equipped with an articulated arm equipped with a spray gun and has a compact dimension of 940 x 500 x 1620 mm and a machine width of 500 mm, so it can pass through the width of the working scaffolding. The robot is expected to be mainly used for concrete stripping of highways, piers, interior and exterior walls of buildings, chipping work, removal of paint film from vehicles and ships, and cleaning of heat exchangers and external surfaces of pipes.
