In October 2021, CDPR postponed cyberpunk 2077 updates and free DLC until 2022, after which CDPR didn't share more, and a recent rumor of "Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.5" has spread online.
The rumor came from the 4chan forum and subsequently spread to other sites such as Reddit. According to rumors, the next-generation and 1.5 version patches for Cyberpunk 2077 will be considered reboots of the game, with the game being named Cyberpunk 2077: Samurai Edition; CDPR is scheduled to be unveiled in February this year; this version will include free DLC, game content tweaks (e.g., Judy and Parnan will send more information to the protagonist in the game), and plenty of new features – barbershop, garage, AI improvements, illusions, loot balance, and a new UI interface.
In addition, the rumor claims that the first major expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 occurred in Taiping Chau, in an area called "Combat Zone". Two new gangs are vying for the area: a violent clown gang known as the "Bozos" and a gang called "Slaughterhouse" made up of "violent psychopaths." Other details leaked included a Cyberpunk 2077 mini-game, details of the Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners animation, and another expansion that was in the planning stages.
The source of this rumor is very suspicious, the 4chan forum is mixed, and the credibility is very low. And now CDPR's global director of public relations, Radek Grabowski, has told Forbes that the leak, or in his words, is "unreasonable." Grabowski didn't go on, meaning he didn't explain which parts were unreasonable, and whether the whole thing was untrue, or which details about the leak were wrong.
Aside from Radek Grabowski's response, CDPR officials have not announced any new news about cyberpunk 2077 DLC, and fans still have to wait a while.
