Shanghai Maqiao Artificial Intelligence Innovation Pilot Zone was born on the oldest coastline in Shanghai, and is a highland for artificial intelligence innovation, application demonstration, system supply and talent gathering with global demonstration effects, which has been built by the Shanghai Municipal Government, and its urban planning and design have always attracted much attention. In August 2020, Shanghai Maqiao Artificial Intelligence Innovation Pilot Zone Company launched the international call for urban design proposals, and on December 17 of the same year, three sets of winning plans were selected. In the end, Tianhua & WSP's "Super Shanghai Maqiao Artificial Intelligence Innovation Pilot Zone" program won.
At the event site, the plan was officially unveiled and released, revealing the answer for how to define the future development of Shanghai Maqiao Artificial Intelligence Innovation Pilot Zone - "three districts of financial city, one park hui ecology, one axis of leading technology, four corridors gather vitality". Among them, the "three districts of the financial city" includes three plates: North Zhihui, Zhongzhichuang and South Zhizhuo. "One Garden Hui Ecology" refers to taking Central Park as the starting point to reshape a living intelligent ecological engine, intersecting with science and technology, and integrating with culture.
According to the plan, the future Maqiao will gather four smart industries and gather top talents to build 1.2 million square meters of scientific research offices, 1.5 million square meters of industrial intelligent manufacturing, 660,000 square meters of future residence, and 280 hectares of blue-green leisure space with global penetration, and promote the new rise of the AI city above the millennium gang.
Shanghai Industrial Intelligence Center is the first industrial carrier project in the Shanghai Maqiao Artificial Intelligence Innovation Pilot Zone Application Comprehensive Practice Zone. With a total investment of 1.44 billion yuan and a total construction area of 140,000 square meters, the construction content includes R&D office and R&D supporting business facilities, and is scheduled to be completed and delivered at the end of December 2023.
