Zhitong Finance APP learned that on January 3 (Monday) the U.S. stock market opened, as of press time, the Dow index rose 0.22%, the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.57%, and the S&P 500 index rose 0.33%.

Individual stocks

Tesla rose more than 8 percent, breaking the company's previous record by delivering 308,600 vehicles worldwide in the fourth quarter of last year.

Ideal rose more than 3 percent, delivering more than 14,000 units in December, another record high.

NIO rose more than 6 percent, delivering 10,489 new vehicles in December, up 49.7 percent year-on-year. A total of 25,034 units were delivered in the fourth quarter, an increase of 44.3% year-on-year, achieving seven consecutive quarters of positive growth.

Xiaopeng rose more than 2%, delivering 16,000 smart cars in December, an increase of 181% year-on-year, and delivering a total of 41,751 smart cars in the fourth quarter of 2021, an increase of 222% year-on-year.

Immix Biopharma (IMMX.US) soared 116 percent, and its drug, IMX-110, was recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Products for Rare Pediatric Diseases.

Biopharmaceutical company Ovid Therapeutics (OVID. US) rose 0.78 percent, and the company has an exclusive partnership with AstraZeneca.
