According to my personal observation, for the vast majority of people in the world, life is meaningless and worthless. Nor did they ever consider such philosophical questions.

For such sentient beings, where does the meaning and value of life begin?
I myself belong to the ranks of all sentient beings, and it is inevitable that I will be confused, not at all taller than anyone. If I want to make a difference, there is one: I, of course, some other people, have some ideas about life, have a little brain, and think that these ideas are somewhat reasonable.
What do I think? Go a long way.
In today's world, wars are raging, people want to run wild, "the yellow bell is destroyed, the tiles are thundering", it is a very unstable era. But I have always been an optimist about the future of humanity. I believe that no matter how many difficulties and twists and turns remain to be experienced, no matter how much time we have to go through, human beings will always become better and better, and the realm of human unity will never be just an empty ideal.
However, to achieve this goal, it must go through the joint efforts of countless generations. Like a relay race, each generation has its own way to run. Another example is a chain, which is composed of many rings, each of which, in itself, is nothing but a trivial thing; but without this, the chain cannot be formed. In the long river of human social development, each of our generations has its own tasks, and it is by no means dispensable. If life has meaning and value, its meaning and value are here.
However, this truth can only be understood by a small number of people of insight in human society.
What Mr. Lu Xun calls "the backbone of China" refers to this kind of person. They cannot understand their responsibility for human development.
