At the age of 18, Qin Liangyu married 14-year-old Ma Qiancheng, a descendant of the famous Eastern Han general Ma Yuan, and a local hereditary toastmaster. However, the good times were not long, Ma Qiancheng was seriously ill in 1613, and his health was not very good, so when he received Qiu Chengyun, a supervisor sent by the imperial court, he did not feel respectful enough to the other party. After Qiu Chengyun returned to the imperial court, he framed the emperor, and Ma Qiancheng was arrested and imprisoned, and after being imprisoned, Ma Qianyun died of illness because he did not receive effective care.

In the first year of the Apocalypse, Hou Jin led a large army to attack Shenyang, Qin Liangyu led the white pole soldiers to the rescue and helped the imperial court win the victory in the defense of Shenyang; in the second year of the Apocalypse, the Yi leader Su Chongming rebelled, once captured a large number of territories, surrounded Chengdu, Qin Liangyu led the army to defeat Su Chongming, and regained all the lost land; in the third year of Chongzhen, the Manchu Emperor Taiji led an army to besiege the capital, and Qin Liangyu led the army to rescue the driver, causing the Emperor Taiji to retreat.
