Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Tiangong Dialogue, Young Students Xi Ti "New Year Gift Package" from Space

"As long as you dare to dream, dare to chase dreams, and use wisdom and sweat to build your own dream spaceship, you will certainly be able to usher in the launch moment of your dreams and fly to the vast starry sky that belongs to you."

"I believe that as long as you put the interests of the country in the highest position in your heart, you will certainly be able to forge ahead and overcome difficulties."

"As long as you have a dream in your heart and persist in chasing your dreams, one day you will be able to realize your dreams." ”

……

On the afternoon of January 1, 2022, Beijing, Hong Kong, Macao and "space" were successfully connected: about 500 young students from Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao, together with aerospace experts and the Shenzhou 13 crew who are on a mission to the Tiangong space station, launched a unique Tiangong dialogue around "youth, dreams and struggles".

Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Tiangong Dialogue, Young Students Xi Ti "New Year Gift Package" from Space

The three astronauts, Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu, wore familiar spacesuits, smiling and energetic, and their frequent golden sentences attracted continuous applause, and their sincere patriotic feelings and courageous aerospace spirit deeply touched the young students.

2021 is the year of the construction of the Chinese space station. From the launch of the Tianhe core module on April 29, 2021, to today, the Chinese space station has been in orbit for more than eight months. During this time, the space station completed 5 launches, 4 astronaut space capsules, 1 manned return, and 1 space lecture during the key technology verification phase of the space station.

In 2022, Chinese astronauts ushered in the "first ray of sunshine of the new year" in their space homeland, and it is also the first time that Chinese in space for the New Year, on the occasion of the New Year, the "heaven and earth dialogue" between astronauts and young people in Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao shows extraordinary significance, I believe that every Chinese youth can personally feel the rapid progress of the country and the glory and pride of being a Chinese.

As Zhai Zhigang said, "Only when there is a country can there be a home, no matter how high we fly, the strong motherland will always be our strongest backing." ”

"New Year's Gift Pack" from Space

"What does it feel like to be on a mission in space?" "How do you stay 'feel good'?" "If you encounter some unexpected emergencies during the flight, how will you face and solve them?" ......

In the face of the questions raised by the young people in Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao, the three astronauts patiently explained that each answer was like a precious "gift" that needed to be remembered and cherished with heart.

"No matter how high we fly and how far we fly, a strong motherland will always be our strongest backing." Patriotism will always be the source of motivation for us. I believe that as long as you put the interests of the country in the highest position in your heart, you will certainly be able to forge ahead and overcome difficulties. In the course of the dialogue, Zhai Zhigang shared his experience and encouraged young people to brave hardships and overcome difficulties.

He said that the spirit is where the bloodline is, where the strength is, and the spirit of manned spaceflight, which is particularly able to endure hardships, especially able to fight, especially able to tackle key problems, and especially able to dedicate, is the red gene that the aerospace front has inherited. On the lintel of the space brigade, there are 8 big words - "the interests of the motherland are above all else", and only a country can have a home.

At the event, a young student from the School of Aerospace and Astronautics of Tsinghua University asked a question that the astronauts who carried out manned space missions were one of the best, and after many rounds of selection and preparation for many years, they finally realized the dream of flying. In today's fierce competition in society, how can astronauts face a long wait and preparation to be indifferent to fame and fortune and never give up?

"It's impossible for everyone to ascend to the heavens in one step." Ye Guangfu responded that in daily life, people compare one thing to a difficult thing, often saying that "it is more difficult than ascending to heaven." As an astronaut, his personal experience is that it is really difficult to ascend to the sky, from students becoming pilots, to being selected as astronauts, to performing missions, each of these three jumps cannot be easily achieved.

Ye Guangfu continued that the astronaut's biggest dream is to fly. Everyone has experienced strict selection and arduous training on the road to the flying sky, many people have waited for a few years, more than ten years, and may even be a lifetime, the most valuable thing is that everyone always insists on not giving up, keeps the original intention, endures loneliness, and withstands the test.

He encouraged young people to be quiet and calm in the face of fierce competition, to practice their skills, step by step to move forward in the direction of their dreams, so that they have faith in their hearts and strength under their feet. As long as there are dreams in the heart and persistent pursuit of dreams, one day it will certainly be able to realize the dream.

In December last year, the first lesson of the "Tiangong Classroom" was officially launched, which was the second time after 8 years that Chinese astronauts taught space. "Space Teachers" Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu brought a wonderful space science lesson to the majority of teenagers on the China Space Station.

In this regard, students from Macao asked Wang Yaping, you are the first female teacher to teach space, compared with 8 years ago, what do you think is the deepest impression and the biggest feeling this time?

Wang Yaping said frankly, "As an astronaut, I am deeply proud to be able to catch up with such a great era and be born in such a great motherland. What makes me even happier is that the seeds of dreams planted in those days are now blossoming, and some of the children who sat in the classroom 8 years ago to listen to the space lesson have become members of the aerospace family and are fighting side by side with us at this moment. ”

Wang Yaping said that he hopes that the "Tiangong Classroom", a platform that ignites dreams, can guide more teenagers to raise their heads and look up at the stars, and plant seeds of love for science, pursuit of dreams and exploration of the unknown in their hearts. And the seeds of this dream will one day take root and sprout, blooming more and more brilliant flowers.

How do astronauts respond to emergencies? Ye Guangfu, as a "newcomer" who performed a flying mission for the first time, responded that astronauts are by no means alone in battle at any time. In addition to the fact that astronauts have sufficient knowledge, technology and psychological preparation to deal with extreme situations, the comrades who carry out missions together in space are a collective in the same boat, and there are thousands of astronauts on the ground of the motherland to guard their safety and provide them with support and guarantees around the clock.

"We have always firmly believed in the great superiority of the national system, always firmly believed that unity is strength, and always believed in revolutionary friendship tempered by arduous tasks." Ye Guangfu made a promise in space, "We have confidence, determination and ability to resolutely complete the task, please rest assured that the motherland and the people!" ”

The answers of the "heavenly" astronauts were loud and clear, and the applause of the "earthly" was firm and powerful.

"New Year's Gift" from the Ground

"This is the first time that our Chinese space station has held a space painting exhibition." Next to a bulkhead of the space station, Wang Yaping introduced dozens of paintings with the theme of "space" posted by everyone.

Guizhou children's "Space Travel", Xinjiang children's "Beautiful Space Homeland", Tibet children's "Departure to Space", Sichuan Liangshan children's "Chinese Dream"... The children's paintings are young and cute, full of imagination, and elements such as the earth, satellites, space stations and alien spacecraft are rich and colorful, and some of them also write "Space Dream, Chinese Dream" and "Chinese Spaceflight" in the paintings.

Wang Yaping said the paintings came from teenagers in 11 provinces and municipalities in central and western China, which is also a New Year's gift to astronauts. Some of these teenagers once lived in poor areas, and after the implementation of the targeted poverty alleviation policy, the local people have lived a happy and well-off life.

And these gifts actually came to the space station earlier than astronauts.

According to media reports, in order to create a strong atmosphere to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and help promote the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, from September to October 2021, the China Manned Space Engineering Office, together with the China Space Foundation, the 208 Institutes of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Industry Group Co., Ltd. and other units, organized the "Youth and Starry Dialogue" face-to-face activities between young people in the central and western regions and manned spaceflight. During the Tianzhou-3 and Shenzhou-13 missions, representatives of teachers and students from 11 provinces and autonomous regions in the central and western regions were invited to wenchang cosmodrome and Jiuquan satellite launch center to carry out a "youth and starry sky dialogue" with Chinese astronauts and scientific and technological workers on the manned space front.

As the activities progressed, the children began to develop a bold idea that they hoped would be sent to the Chinese space station and to the uncles and aunts of astronauts on missions on the occasion of the New Year. In order to realize the children's dream, through the joint efforts of many parties, this "mysterious gift" was hoped to take the "Heavenly Boat" to the "Heavenly Palace".

More than 2 months later, 3 astronauts opened the gift as promised.

"This exhibition with the theme of 'Dialogue between Youth and the Starry Sky' carries the visions, expectations and dreams of the vast number of young people for the future development of China's aerospace industry, and we believe that these dreams will one day become a reality." Wang Yaping said that today we will share these precious gifts with everyone, let us work together to "light up the dream".

It is hoped that Hong Kong and Macao scholars will join the manned spaceflight research team

"I have a wish that in the future, scholars from Hong Kong and Macao will appear in our manned space research team." At the scene of the event, Berlin Hou, deputy chief designer of the Space Station system of China's manned space engineering as a representative of aerospace experts, issued a sincere invitation to Hong Kong and Macao scholars.

The event was also highly valued by the local governments in Hong Kong and Macao.

The Paper noted that at the branch venue of the University of Hong Kong, Zhang Xiang, President of the University of Hong Kong, and Tam Yiu-chung, Secretary General of the Hong Kong Re-Departure Grand Alliance, attended as guests, while Song Yonghua, President of the University of Macau and Director of the State Key Laboratory of The Internet of Things in Smart Cities, and Zhang Keke, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences of the Macau University of Science and Technology, attended as guests at the branch venue of the University of Macau.

In fact, the motherland has always been concerned about the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao.

The 14th Five-Year Plan clearly supports Hong Kong's construction of an international science and technology innovation center, better integrate into the overall situation of national development, and deepen the cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong in science and technology. Hong Kong's universities have also directly or indirectly participated in various major national space projects, including manned space projects, in various ways, and have made many contributions.

The country's continuous progress in the space industry has provided Hong Kong with many valuable opportunities. From the space experiment of Hong Kong middle school students on the Tiangong-2 in 2016 to the "Spirit of the Times Yao Xiangjiang" in 2021, when looking up at the Starry Sky Palace and entering hong Kong by the moon, Hong Kong has shared the glory of national scientific and technological progress in a timely manner.

Macao is also an active participant and builder of national aeronautical engineering, in 2018, with the approval of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Macau University of Science and Technology established the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences, and the laboratory and its predecessor, the Space Science Research Institute, under the strategic guidance of the country's vigorous development of deep space exploration, has carried out a number of basic scientific research on the moon and planets, and achieved fruitful results, from Shenzhou, Chang'e, to mars exploration program. In recent years, the sweat of laboratory researchers has been left in important national space scientific research and innovation projects; in 2019, The successful launch of Macao's first scientific satellite and China's first geomagnetic detection satellite means that aviation cooperation between Macao and the mainland has entered a new stage of development. Not long ago, primary and secondary school students in Macao also participated in the "Sky Classroom" activities, which successfully set off a wave of space fever in Macao.

Liu Zibo, a doctoral student from the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences at the Macau University of Science and Technology, sighed during the interaction at the event site that China's aerospace industry has started from scratch, and after the hard work of generations of astronauts, it has made brilliant achievements that have attracted the attention of the world, which has greatly boosted the self-confidence and pride of the Chinese nation.

I believe that this cross-time and space New Year's date in 2022 will also make young students gain something, as Wang Yaping is looking forward to, "I sincerely hope that more young people can join our team and take over the baton of history, as long as they dare to dream, dare to chase dreams, and use wisdom and sweat to build their own dream spaceship, they will certainly be able to usher in the launch of their dreams and fly to the vast starry sky that belongs to you at all times." ”
