On January 8 and 9, 2024, the Chang'e-6 mission probe products of the fourth phase of the lunar exploration project arrived at Hainan Nanlan International Airport on the An-124 and Y-20 aircraft, respectively, and then transported to the Wenchang Cosmodrome in China by road transportation. Subsequently, various pre-launch test preparations will be carried out as planned.
The Chang'e-6 mission will make breakthroughs in key technologies such as the design and control of the moon's retrograde orbit, intelligent sampling on the back of the moon, and take-off and ascent on the far side of the moon, implement automatic sampling and return on the far side of the moon, and carry out scientific exploration and international cooperation in the landing area.

At present, the facilities at the launch site are in good condition, and all preparations are proceeding in an orderly manner as planned, and the launch of Chang'e-6 is scheduled for the first half of this year.
