Jia Shanming's parents ordered him a doll early, hoping to make him a farmer in peace and stability.
But he was envious of those who wore military uniforms.
In the autumn of 1936, when the National Revolutionary Army came to the county seat to recruit troops, Jia Shanming secretly signed up.

Jia Shanming's position is Yangtaizi Village, 25 kilometers northwest of the town of Changping in The North.

In 2013, under the interview of reporters, Jia Shanming, who was already ninety years old, finally told his history of the War of Resistance.

In August 2014, 97-year-old Jia Lao, with the help of volunteers and media reporters, came to the site of the Battle of Nankou in Beijing's Changping District and found the grave of Yu Yingchang.
In front of the tomb, he burst into tears, saying that he was sorry for his comrades-in-arms, and used their remains as fortifications to protect himself...
