The Japanese squad brutally killed 36 people in one day, saying that the women and children who cut the grass and removed the roots did not spare the female guerrillas the worst

In the southeast of Jilin Province, along the Tumen River, there is a place called Laotougou. After the September 18 Incident in 1931, it became an active area for the East Manchuria Special Committee to lead the masses of the people to carry out the anti-Japanese struggle, and a guerrilla group dominated by coal miners was established here to carry out armed struggle against the Japanese and the Puppets. Therefore, the Japanese and puppet authorities designated Laotougou as a key area for "crusade" and wanted to fundamentally eradicate the anti-Japanese armed forces in the northeast.

At that time, the Japanese invaders called the anti-Japanese armed forces "bandits" and obtained the "right to seek bandits" from the League of Nations at that time on the grounds that "bandits jumped off beams and endangered the safety of the lives and property of Japanese subjects." Subsequently, under the pretext of maintaining the "public order" of puppet Manchukuo, the Japanese puppet army formulated the so-called "plan for the rectification of public order" and launched a large-scale "crusade" against the Japanese armed forces.

Beginning in the summer of 1932, the Japanese and puppet military and police listed the Laotougou area as the focus of the crusade, where large-scale brutal sweeps and burnings and plunders were carried out, creating a horrific massacre.

One day in March 1933, the 6th Squadron of the 10th Regiment of the 10th Division of the Japanese Kwantung Army carried out a "crusade" against the anti-Japanese armed forces in the Laotougou area on the orders of the wing commander, Renmi Shunshi. The 10th Kwantung Army Division, one of the 17 standing divisions established by the Japanese army before the outbreak of World War II, is a division of the Japanese Army, and its well-equipped divisions are regarded as a sample of Japan's modern divisions. Therefore, the soldiers of this unit are far in stark contrast with the anti-Japanese armed forces in terms of personnel quality and weapons and equipment, and have an overwhelming advantage.

Because of this, the arrogance of the Japanese was unmistakable in the crusade, and the commander of the Tenth Wing, Ren shunshi Daisa, before the departure of the Sixth Squadron, asked them to kill all the Chinese in this crusade operation, even women, children, and even the elderly, and they must cut down the anti-Japanese armed forces in Laotougou and eradicate them.

Led by Captain Shigeo Yamamoto, the Japanese Sixth Squadron plunged more than 90 men directly into the Laotougou area. At 9 a.m. on the same day, a village in the Laotougou area was invaded. The leader of the first squad, Lieutenant Ichikawa Numaro, ordered the Japanese soldier Takeo Honnobu and nine others to enter two houses in the village to search. Eventually they caught an 11-year-old child from the room, and after the Japanese army caught the child outside the house, the Japanese military Cobia Harada grabbed the child in his hand and dragged it to a depression 30 meters away from the house and beheaded him with a saber.

The Japanese continued their advance after completely destroying the village. At 11:00 a.m., 20 Japanese soldiers, including Takeo Honmei, found an anti-Japanese female guerrilla in the mountains one kilometer from Laolaogou. After conducting a surprise interrogation of her, the Japanese soldiers saw that they had not obtained any valuable information, so they brutally tortured her.

At that time, several Japanese soldiers pressed the anti-Japanese female guerrilla to the ground, and after taking off her pants, the Japanese soldier Ando inserted a fork directly into the female guerrilla's lower body, and then laughed after watching the female guerrilla struggle in pain. While the female guerrillas were struggling in pain, they were also scolding the Japanese as "animals!"! After the Japanese soldiers had been extremely insulted, Ando raised his rifle and beat the female guerrillas to death. Japanese soldiers then threw her body off a cliff into the jungle.

At 16:00 p.m., Shigeo Yamamoto led a "crusade" to a village 4 kilometers north of The Old ManGou, and Lieutenant Ichikawa Numaro's first squad captured four female guerrillas of about 18 years old. After a brief interrogation, Captain Shigeo Yamamoto ordered the Japanese soldier Yamazaki to use light machine guns to strafe and kill the four guerrillas.

The above three killings by the first squad of the sixth squadron of the 10th Squadron of the 10th Regiment of the 10th Division of the Japanese Kwantung Army are just some of the confessions written by takeo Honomoyo, a Japanese prisoner of war, in 1954. In fact, on the same day, this Japanese army squad killed as many as 36 Chinese soldiers and civilians.
