At the acceptance summary meeting of the 16th batch of Guangdong Chest Pain Center (the fourth batch in 2021), Dapu County People's Hospital passed the certification of Guangdong Chest Pain Center and recommended to participate in the certification of National Chest Pain Center. This is the first county-level hospital in Meizhou to pass the one-time certification of the chest pain center, marking that the construction of the chest pain center of The Dapu County People's Hospital has reached the provincial standard level.
Since the launch of the Intervention Center of Tai Po County People's Hospital on February 24 this year, under the guidance and operation of support experts, the hospital has completed more than 360 coronary angiography, more than 160 coronary interventional surgeries and other complex interventional techniques. The county's acute myocardial infarction cases have been reduced by more than 90%, the total number of emergency department cases has been reduced by more than 50%, and advanced interventional diagnosis and treatment technology has provided a strong guarantee for the construction of the chest pain center of Dapu County People's Hospital, and also allowed the county and surrounding people to enjoy high-quality, convenient, efficient and sophisticated medical technical services nearby, and truly achieve serious illnesses without leaving the county.

Dapu County is located on the border of Fujian and Guangdong, in the past, the masses had difficulty in seeking medical treatment, and patients with acute myocardial infarction could only be transferred to Meizhou City, 100 miles away, for coronary intervention, which delayed the treatment time.

Treat patients with care and keep improving our technology
On March 3 this year, the Department of Internal Medicine (Cardiology) of Dapu County People's Hospital admitted a patient with high-risk chest pain, Liu Yong personally inspected the patient, guided the intervention team to conduct clinical risk assessment, considered high-risk NSTEMI patients, decisively decided to carry out emergency interventional treatment, immediately started the catheterization room, completed the patient's preoperative preparation, and then performed emergency coronary angiography.
The contrast results showed that the patient's coronary artery rotational branch was completely occluded, and Liu Yong guided the cardiology intervention team to carry out interventional treatment, and the patient's chest pain was relieved after surgery, and the crisis was turned into safety. It is reported that this is the first emergency PCI in Tai Po County, filling the gap in coronary stent implantation in Tai Po County People's Hospital.
In the following days, Liu Yong personally took the stage to operate and guide, and successively carried out a variety of complex and difficult PCI operations.
So far, the interventional diagnosis and treatment center has treated a large number of patients with acute chest pain, and has completed more than 500 cardiac interventional surgeries, including more than 330 coronary angiography, 160 coronary stent implants, more than 80 cases of acute myocardial infarction patients, and successful rescue of 7 patients with cardiac arrest, with the highest age of 94 years old. The minimum time (D2B) for patients with acute myocardial infarction arriving at the hospital to opening the blood vessels (D2B) is 26 minutes, which is far below the 90 minutes required for the construction of the chest pain center, and the first case of stenting of left trunk lesion assisted by the aortic balloon in Meizhou District County Hospital was successfully implemented.
In one year, spanning more than 400 kilometers, the support work has brought a qualitative leap to the medical level of Tai Po County People's Hospital, and also allowed more people in Tai Po to enjoy high-quality medical services at their doorstep.
