It is said that Zhang Ying is low-key and kind-hearted, and in order to celebrate his sixtieth birthday, his family is ready to spend a lot of money to invite the best opera team in the city to sing, and also plans to put on a banquet and call relatives and friends.
Zhang Ying heard about her family's plan and firmly opposed it, proposing to use the money to do good deeds. In the end, he took out hundreds of taels of silver and bought a lot of clothes and food to give to the poor people whose families were not in good condition. From this incident, it can be seen that Zhang Ying is not only diligent and thrifty, but also has a heart of compassion for heaven and people, no wonder Kangxi values him so much.
As the saying goes, there is a difficult scripture in the family, and Zhang Ying has also encountered a headache for him. One day, Zhang Ying received a letter from his family, the content of which was very simple, asking him to put pressure on the local county order and teach his neighbor Lao Wang a lesson. It turned out that because of the problem of the homestead, Lao Wang and Zhang Ying's family had a dispute, and no one refused to give in, making a lot of trouble.
Well-meaning people privately persuaded Lao Wang not to be tough with the Zhang family, and his arms could not twist his thighs, after all, Zhang Ying was an official in the dynasty and was a red man around the emperor. Lao Wang is also temperamental, not afraid of the sky, and always firmly believes that "reason goes all over the world". The matter got bigger and bigger, and the two sides went to the county court to fight a lawsuit. Since ancient times, it is difficult for officials to judge family affairs, because the homestead is handed down from generation to generation, the time is too long, and the county order does not know how to rule.
