According to Geely R & D personnel, the new car is positioned as a "long-range extendable range hybrid vehicle without charging". Through Geely's self-developed hybrid special engine, it serves as the "charging treasure" of the new energy vehicle, which can achieve electricity, oil and range, and the vehicle is also the only hybrid model in the industry that can be paralleled at full speed.

Li Shufu, chairman of Geely Holding Group, previously said in an internal sharing exchange that Geely should actively participate in the competition of the smart pure electric vehicle market from two aspects. On the one hand, it is the main energy-saving car, mainly hybrid, and will be the mainstream model for a period of time; on the other hand, it is mainly pure electric vehicle models, facing the future market competition.
