On December 30, ZTE Chairman Li Zixue delivered a 2022 New Year's Speech. In his speech, Li Zixue reviewed ZTE's achievements in 2021, and also planned and looked forward to the new year. He said that as a road builder of the digital economy, ZTE will seize new opportunities to continue to "consolidate the cost" and maintain the stable growth of the first curve dominated by operator business while increasing "innovation", so that the second curve dominated by government and enterprises, consumers and new services can be rapidly pulled up, achieving leapfrog development and moving towards the goal of "the world's top 500".

The old years are gone, and a new chapter has begun. On this occasion, on behalf of the company, I would like to extend my sincere greetings and thanks to the employees who have made unremitting efforts to ZTE's cause in the past year, the families who have supported ZTE, and the global customers, partners, investors and people from all walks of life who have long cared for and supported ZTE.

2021 is the final year of the strategic development period, this year, we are deeply involved in the construction of domestic 5G scale, the operator market pattern has steadily improved, overseas markets have been steadily operated, government and enterprise affairs have grown rapidly, terminal business has continued to recover, and new services have accelerated. Adhere to the leading technology, continue to increase investment in chips, algorithms, basic software and architecture, and strengthen core competitiveness. Continuously promote digital transformation within the enterprise, visualize the operation process, and promote the improvement of operational efficiency. All ZTE people forge ahead, consolidate the foundation and expand the new, achieve quality growth, and successfully achieve the business objectives of the development period.

In 2022, we are about to usher in the beginning of the transcendent period, and the global situation is still unpredictable and uncertain. In terms of system products, we must adhere to the leading technology in key areas, strive for the first technical competitiveness of major products, and increase the self-development of core chips to ensure the commercial sustainability of products. In the domestic operator market, we must dare to compete for breakthroughs, constantly challenge higher shares, and contribute to scale profits. In overseas markets, we have strengthened strategic breakthroughs and steady operation around the "big country big T network".

Domestic governments and enterprises should accelerate the expansion of key industries such as finance and the Internet, strengthen the comprehensive competitiveness of channels, focus on the rapid replication and promotion of traditional advantageous products and opportunistic products such as servers and IDCs, and achieve leapfrog growth.
