Zhu Yuanzhang's 22-word couplet praises Xu Da's wen and wu shuangquan
"Breaking the pedagogical feats through the ancient and modern people first, going in and out of the xiangcai and the unparalleled literary and martial world", this 22-character couplet is the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty Zhu Yuanzhang wrote to the general Xu Da, just like today's letter of thanks, but the rank is indeed high, it is the emperor's thank you letter, which shows Zhu Yuanzhang's full affirmation of Xu Da.
When Zhu Yuanzhang originated from the end of the micro, Xu Da followed him, and continued to show his talent, showing the talent and overall strength of picking the ball, and was slowly valued by Zhu Yuanzhang. At that time, the heavens and the earth were united, although the big figures all raised the anti-Yuan banner, but they were also not harmonious with each other, Zhu Yuanzhang was in YingTianfu, surrounded on all sides, at that time in the peasant uprising, Chen Youyi and Zhang Shicheng were more powerful, Zhu Yuanzhang decided to destroy Chen Youyi first and then beat Zhang Shicheng, Xu Da repeatedly made military achievements in the early days of the conquest of Chen Youyi, and then, because of fear that Zhang Shicheng would attack him, Xu Da was sent to respond to Heaven, strict defense, Zhang Shicheng was afraid of activism, Zhu Yuanzhang eliminated his concerns, went all out to deal with Chen Youyi, and finally defeated him.

Xu Da, a native of Anhui, has lived a daily life since he was a child, but he is upright but very affectionate, and he also has a very good brother, who plays together until he is big, and this person is Zhu Yuanzhang. When the two people were children, they smelled the same, the adults told them to graze, and the two people gradually went to the waves when they tied the sheep, and did many wrong things.
At the age of twenty-two, forced to live, coupled with the care of his good brother Zhu Yuanzhang, Xu Da asked Zhu Yuanzhang's Red Turban Army to join the army. Xu Dawugong is very good, and there are many funny jokes, plus it is also Zhu Yuanzhang's discovery, so Zhu Yuanzhang attaches great importance to him, often making him participate in key national defense management decisions, and he follows Zhu Yuanzhang from Anhui Province all the way to Nanjing. Xu Da was a famous general who had been rushing to the forefront, and he assisted Zhu Yuanzhang in controlling the southern Anhui and eastern Zhejiang regions, prompting Zhu Yuanzhang's increasing influence in the Jiangnan region to expand.
But at that time, Zhu Yuanzhang was not yet powerful, and the opposite of him was Zhang Shicheng in the east and Chen Youyu in the west. Among them, Chen Youyu's overall strength is even deeper. In 1363, Chen Youyu led an army to attack Zhu Yuanzhang's troops, and the two armies fought against Poyang Lake for a long time, and could not tell whether they won or lost, and both sides were damaged. Zhu Yuanzhang immediately found Xu Da, and after Xu Da arrived at the allies, he chose a strategy of rapid attack, beating Chen Youyi's vanguard army to a flower, and Zhu Yuanzhang ambushed Chen Youyi's army only after chen youyi's army, and defeated Chen Youyu's troops, and this battle established Zhu Yuanzhang's leading influence.
Xu Da was not only the founding general of the Ming Dynasty, but also the first among the military attaches. Moreover, Xu Da was really easy-going in temperament, and he was upright and unassuming, although he was a master in leading the army, his personal strength in the army was actually inferior to Li Wenzhong. I think that at that time, Zhu Yuanzhang only gave Li Wenzhong a punishment of life imprisonment, then, for Xu Da, Zhu Yuanzhang had no reason to die.

From the above things, you can at least see two points. One of them, Xu Da put his parts very straight, and he knew his true identity. No matter how much Zhu Yuanzhang spoiled him and how he hooked up with him, Xu Da's mind was very clear, he knew that he was a minister from beginning to end, and Zhu Yuanzhang was the emperor from beginning to end. Zhu Yuanzhang regarded him as an emperor, that was a reward, but if Xu Dazhen regarded Zhu Yuanzhang as a brother, it would be a distinction between honor and inferiority.
After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Xu Da did not stop working, but came to the northern region to fight against the remnants of the Yuan Dynasty in the northern region, until 1381, when he was forced to stop working due to illness. In 1385, when Xu Da died at the age of 54, Zhu Yuanzhang personally went to ask for comfort, and posthumously named him the King of Zhongshan, personally saying goodbye to this brother who had followed him for decades, Zhu Yuanzhang erected a monument for Xu Da, and personally wrote an inscription. In Zhu Yuanzhang's life, it is very likely that the only person who called him a brother in his heart was None other than Xu Da!
