In his congratulatory letter, Bach wrote: "I would like to thank Civilization magazine for its contribution over the past 20 years to the innovative promotion of Olympic culture and the dissemination of the Olympic spirit in China, as well as for its efforts to continuously convey the values of the Olympic Movement." China will continue to write a glorious chapter in the history of the Olympic Movement, and Civilization magazine will continue to play a unique and important role in this regard. ”

In 2004, under the guidance of then-President of the International Olympic Committee Rogge and Honorary President Samaranch for life, Civilization magazine began to explore how to better construct and interpret the modern Olympic cultural system. Since then, Civilization magazine has planned and produced 10 special editions of the Olympic series, such as the "New Beijing, New Olympics" special edition, "Olympic Flame Illuminating Beijing" and "Olympic Declaration" (chinese, French and English), to display China's image and spread Olympic culture.

Between 2012 and 2016, the first and second parts of the "Olympic Declaration - Beautiful Olympic Culture Long Volume (Series)", founded by the Capital Civilization Engineering Foundation and Civilization Magazine, were published successively. With the approaching of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Civilization magazine launched the third long volume, with the theme of "Olympic + Spring Festival", covering the festival culture of 23 countries and 43 cities that hosted the Summer Olympic Games and the Winter Olympic Games.
