On December 27, at the Baidu Create 2021 (Baidu AI Developer Conference), Baidu founder, chairman and CEO Robin Li said that intelligent transportation will be a major change that will affect the next 10 to 40 years, which can make China's first-tier cities no longer need to restrict purchases and traffic within 5 years, and basically solve the congestion problem within 10 years.

Robin Li believes that intelligent transportation can solve three major problems: first, reduce road safety accidents by 90%; second, the system solves the problem of congestion; third, automatic driving and intelligent transportation can help reduce carbon emissions. The data shows that 94% of traffic accidents are caused by human factors, and autonomous driving will eliminate human factors.
