
Beautiful prose is very focused on creating mood. "Intention" refers to the thoughts and feelings of the work, and "environment" refers to the picture composed of concrete things. The familiar Zhu Ziqing essay "Lotus Pond Moonlight" is a good example.
The lotus pond in Tsinghua Garden was originally a small, very ordinary lotus pond, but in Zhu Ziqing's pen, why is it mysterious, flowing and holy, beautiful and moving? It is because of the "philosophical and rational feelings" in the picture, the beauty will never be destroyed, the "personalized personality", the chastity that comes out of the mud and is not stained, the "specific emotions", the faint sorrow revealed by the failure of the Great Revolution, the three are fused into inner feelings, flowing in the lotus pond of the moon and night, empathizing with a scene and a thing here, reaching the fusion of love and scenery, constituting a lyrical artistic realm.
In the contemporary WeChat popularization state, almost every moment of the day there are a large number of essays displayed on the Internet and WeChat, but there are not many chapters that can really create a wonderful artistic conception, and there is still a certain gap with Zhu Ziqing's "philosophy, personality, and emotions".
So, in prose creation, how to create a poetic mood? The following three points are important factors and conditions.
First of all, the author should be good at turning the scenery into emotion. The scenery in prose creation should not be a list and patchwork of impressions, but should be a complete and integrated lyric of a certain philosophy and a certain emotion, and the characteristics, moods, and colors of various scenes should be magically synthesized to express the author's inner feelings and specific emotions.
For example, the prose liu Baiyu's "Sunrise" describes it like this: "At first glance, the night seems to be powerful and boundless, but in the blink of an eye, the cold morning light turns into a magnetic blue light." The original Red Sea was clustered with piles of ink-blue clouds. A miracle was born at this time. Suddenly, a thin parabola rose from the inky blue cloud... Then like a rocket rushing upwards, and then looking at a few small pieces of breaking through the clouds, it turned out that the sun came out. It was dazzling, bright red as fire, as intense as fire, and unconsciously, all shadows were immediately illuminated by it. ”
In the author's pen, on the one hand, the red sea, parabola, and the dazzling red sun, on the other hand, the change and interweaving of the colors of the dark night, the dark blue clouds, the shadows, the warm and the cold, are dynamically combined into a series of galleries in which light triumphs over darkness and new life triumphs over decay, from which the philosophical sentiments of symbolizing the socialist motherland with the sunrise are pinned on.
Second, the author should grasp the main color. The mood usually blends into the specific emotions of the author to form the main color of the picture.
Take, for example, the essay "Why Spring Flowers and Autumn Flowers Are Wild" by General Quan Sheng, former deputy governor of the Chengdu Military Region. The author wrote about a flower called Hongjimu in his own courtyard, and wrote: "How strange! Flowers that bloom in spring, how can they bloom in mid-autumn? And the flowers are very gorgeous, crystal clear, and the leaves are dotted. This flower is called red jimu, and it is planted in my small yard. A few years ago, when I attended the Session of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, on the opening day of the congress, I always received a photo of Hong jimu taken by my wife, Sun Lan. Later, I found that the three red log flower crowns in the photo were like three torches, burning in the sun, and the color did not fade and the flowers did not fade for several days. ”
The previous paragraph is about the red log blooming in the spring, and the author's ingenuity is in the back. The author continues: "A few days after the closing of the two sessions, the magnolias on Chang'an Avenue in front of Tiananmen Square were in full bloom, and many participants took photos under the magnolia tree, and I would also take a few photos and send them to my wife. Therefore, in my eyes, the red log of Chengdu Courtyard and the magnolia of Chang'an Avenue have become the flowers of the opening and closing of the two sessions and a symbol of spring. Every time at this time, the memory will make me turn around and re-see the mid-spring style of my small courtyard in the Southern Xinjiang Military Region... 25 years have passed, spring has come, I have not asked the later owner of the southern Xinjiang courtyard, the pomegranate tree is still good, is the residual snow on the tree still charming. Don't look at the old dragon clock, it is a witness to the vicissitudes of the sea. Zhang Qian may have been beside it and the King of Shule had spoken wine, and Concubine Xiang might have brought its fruits to share with Qianlong. I thought that people who did not understand its feelings would never understand southern Xinjiang. ”
The author will write that Hong Jimu blooms in his own courtyard in Chengdu, he will write about participating in the national "two sessions", and he will return to the small courtyard in southern Xinjiang where he once worked, all of which are set up to constitute the author's specific emotions, so as to extend the artistic conception of the prose picture. In order to sublimate the artistic conception, the author finally revealed his heart: "My thoughts returned to my small courtyard in Chengdu, I wandered in front of the red jimu, the flower clusters made my heart warm, and suddenly understood that the red jimu was blooming for the 70th anniversary of the Republic!" The red tree in front of you, the fire pomegranate in the Southern Xinjiang Military Region, and the white magnolia on Chang'an Avenue are all spiritual flowers and trees! ”
Third, the author should grasp the unity of subjectivity and objectivity, between similarity and dissimilarity. In order to create the artistic conception of prose beauty, it is very good to grasp the high unity of subjectivity- authorship and objectivity - natural scenery, and to achieve the realm of the fusion of matter and self, and the difficulty of subjective and objective: that is, subjectivity is like objectivity, objectivity is like subjectivity, and it is not like subjectivity.
The lotus pond described by Zhu Ziqing is the lotus pond of Tsinghua Garden, and it is not an objectively existing lotus pond in nature, but a beautiful green shade in the author's mind; although it is the "lotus pond moon color" in the author's heart, the artistic taste is all the time and everywhere, but there is no direct point in the brushwork of the description, so there is a hazy and confused light color between the subjective and the objective. The author did not directly break the relationship between the two, that is, to maintain the distance between the two, with the distance, there is a space for delay, resulting in a sense of aesthetic beauty that seems to be different from the same.
The artistic conception of the prose contains many thoughts, contemplating the meaning of life and struggle, contemplating the meaning of various cosmic phenomena, and thinking about the fate of the nation and mankind. Only under the torrent of emotions, always rushing out the waves of wisdom and reason, it is possible to improve the taste of prose, so that it rushes with the flow of feelings, in the lake that flows into the reader's heart, like lightning to awaken the reader's previous experience, and give a new understanding and in-depth enlightenment.
