In real history, Zhuge Liang did have many outstanding achievements, he was an outstanding writer, calligrapher, or an inventor, of course, the most remarkable is his military and political achievements.
As the chancellor of Liu Bei, the ancestor of the Shu Han Dynasty, Zhuge Liang almost unified the military and political power in the late Shu Han Dynasty, and was the cornerstone of the Shu Han Dynasty, such a leading figure not only needed to manage daily affairs, but also shouldered the heavy responsibility of "selecting materials for the country", and needed to promote and cultivate backward talents for the country. "Asking right and wrong and looking at his ambition" means asking him about his attitude and views on a matter, in order to watch his mind and mind, now many parents will invite their daughter's boyfriend to dinner together, and then pretend to inadvertently ask him his views on a current news event, and then judge whether this man is worthy of the daughter's lifelong trust, in fact, it is unconsciously used in this method.
In fact, "poor arguments and watching changes" are often used in life, after a person puts forward his own views and opinions, you keep going deeper, some people can't talk about it a little deeper, but they will become annoyed and angry, this kind of person is not enough to trust; some people still have a clear mind, which shows that he must have extremely deep thinking before speaking, with outstanding talent; some people will be honest about their mistakes although they can't say it. Although this kind of person is not intelligent, his character is still quite solid.
"Consult with scheming and look at his knowledge", ask him about the plan to govern the country and even deal with daily small things, look at his insight and the way of thinking about handling affairs, and judge his talent, in fact, like Zhuge Liang himself is a very typical example. When Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion in Longzhong, when Liu Bei went to visit him, he was "consulting with the major events of the world", and Zhuge Liang talked about the general trend of the world, which achieved the ancient beauty of "Longzhong Right", and he was also reused because of this.
The above three sentences are mainly aimed at judging a person's talents, and the following "tell him to look at his courage by misfortune; look at his nature by drinking; look at his honesty by benefiting him; and look at his faith by looking at things in anticipation" is mainly through judging and observing a person's mental character in four extreme circumstances. A man can show real courage only in the face of danger, and is more likely to confide in the truth after he is drunk, to see how he behaves in the face of the benefits available to him, and to make an agreement with him to see if he can fulfill his promises.
Although Zhuge Liang's seven sentences seem to be extremely simple, but they explain in great detail how to examine a person's talent and morality, I believe that everyone often sees in many film and television dramas, when the boss promotes subordinates or parents choose sons-in-law, it is basically through these seven ways to make judgments on the candidate's talent and character, so as to make a choice.
