Self-cultivation, governance, family unity, peace in the world. This is a clear path pointed out by Confucianism for the vast number of sentient beings, and it is also the ultimate goal that scholars and doctors have dreamed of for thousands of years.
However, why throughout the history of Youth, there are very few scholars and doctors who are praised by later generations. Some of the accomplished ministers were more or less criticized: Zhang Juzheng continued his life for the Ming Dynasty for decades, but he was spurned by posterity because of his extravagance; Yang Xiu also had a prodigious talent, but he was unrestrained and uninhibited; Xu Heng knew that astronomy was under the water conservancy, and should have been enshrined high above the Zongmiao Temple, but he could be slandered by Yu Qian and nailed himself to the pillar of shame of history.

I don't know in the eighth year of Chenghua, 1472 AD. Does Xu Youzhen, who is dying on the sickbed, regret his original decision? So that when future generations talk about the protracted battle to save the building in the world, and whenever they talk about the savior Yu Qian, they will always think of that Xu Heng, the Xu who got rid of his name, but could not get rid of Xu Someone who was spurned by future generations.
Young and promising
Xu Heng is a wise person, can be said to be an all-rounder. The young man is the most in line with this short and tough young man. Xu Heng studied under Wu Ne at the age of twelve or thirteen, and was already able to write poetry at that time. Later, under the recommendation of Wu Ne, the young Xu Huan became a disciple of Hu Yu, who was the sacrificial wine of the Guozi at that time, and was highly appreciated by Hu Yu. The young Xu Heng came into contact with the leading teacher at that time, and was exposed to the resources that others dreamed of. His vision is broader, and his hobbies are more extensive. Xu Heng began to be limited to the study of poetry and scripture, and he also showed extraordinary talent for astronomical astrology and geographical water conservancy.
Xu Heng is not a gentle scholar in people's traditional impressions, but a genius who cultivates both style and style. Qian Qianyi, in the "Collected Poems of the Lie dynasty", described Xu Heng and Li Jingun competing in martial arts, and Xu Heng wielded sixty pounds of large iron rods like playthings. Many people think this is a glorification of Xu Heng, but it is not. In the official historical material "History of Ming", it is recorded:
There is a zhen that has been released, and the emperor has revived the call, always looking up at the heavens, saying that the stars are in Wu, and it is beneficial to be conceited. It is often followed by an iron whip and danced several times.
In just one sentence, there are three important messages.
First of all, Xu Heng is familiar with astronomical geography. It is said that before the change of the civil fort. Xu Heng looked at the stars at night, saw that the stars were abnormal, and let his family move south. Sure enough, the change in Tumu Fort occurred, which confirmed the celestial phenomena observed by Xu Heng, and his family was spared. Xu Heng is a bit skilled.
Moreover, Xu Heng was conceited and thought that the star was himself. Later, Han Yong quelled the Liangguang rebellion, and Xu Huan woke up. Xu Heng's conceit, thinking that Yu Qian was jealous of Xian's ability, and finally harming Yu Qian, was really a pain in the wrist.
Finally, Xu Heng often wielded an iron whip, confirming his extraordinary martial arts skills. It seems that Qian Qianyi did not lie, and Xu Heng in history is indeed a rare wizard who is both literate and martial.
cowardly?
The turning point of Xu Heng's fate began in the fourteenth year of orthodoxy, and the change of Tumu Fort affected many people. Including Yu Qian and Xu Heng, who were colleagues at the time. The Wallachian soldiers are approaching the city, is it a war? Is it a southward retreat? It became a major event that was hotly discussed in the court.
The situation at that time: inside the court there were two groups of ministers who quarreled and did not give in to each other, and the hesitant prince Zhu Qiyu, the prince of the overseer state; outside the court were tens of thousands of iron horses of Vala, and the elite cavalry that was about to be attacked under the city and the hostage Emperor Yingzong Zhu Qizhen.
Xu Heng is just a voice, and he is the first to break the deadlock. He took advantage of the opportunity of his lectures and the confidence of astronomical scholars to propose to the indecisive Prince that the stars should change and that it was advisable to move south. A stone stirs up a thousand layers of waves. The southward migration party hit the iron while it was hot, insisted that the party and the masses attacked it, and for a time it was not lively. Yu Qian's sentence:
Those who move south, when chopped.
Once again, let this lively court return to calm. He argued according to reason, and was recognized by both factions, and sticking to the Beijing Division became the goal of everyone at that time. And everyone also remembered this Yu Qian who was not in danger and the timid xu huan who was as timid as a mouse, and the eyes of Zhu Qiyu, the king of the qi, were full of contempt for Xu Huan. Since then, Xu Heng's career path has been extremely bumpy, and the name Xu Heng and Yu Qian have been bound together. It's just that the latter is a ray of hope, while the former means a boundless darkness that is despised.
This cannot be blamed on Xu Heng, who only published the opinions of some people, but was despised by everyone. Is he wrong? He was not wrong, the arrogance and prejudice of the world made Xu Heng feel dark. If I had to say that Xu Heng made a mistake, it was that he became the head bird. And Yu Qian's words were not said to Xu Heng alone, Yu Qian was not right about things, and the crowd was obviously a little wrong about people.
depraved
The perfect end of the defense of the capital made Yu Qian more and more perfect in the eyes of everyone, he was the hero at that time, and Xu Heng was still working silently in the dark, for the ideal of the scholar.
After the Ming Dynasty was on the right track, Xu Huan entrusted the people to seek the position of Guozi sacrifice wine from Yu Qian. At that time, Yu Qian's influence in the court was like a day in the sky. Basically, Yu Qian said that whichever official was appointed, Emperor Daizong Zhu Qiyu would pass.
However, Zhu Qiyu remembered Xu Heng. When Yu Qian kept his promise and said a few words for Xu Heng in front of Emperor Daizong. Daizong immediately remembered the Xu Heng who almost made him a sinner for eternity, and he hated it even more, even more, who could promote Xu Heng. When the news came out, Xu Heng's long-cherished official position was disappointed. Xu Heng, who has been conceited since childhood, blames his sins on Qian's jealousy for unknown reasons. He secretly swore that he would pay the blood debt of Yu Qian. At that moment, Xu Heng was swallowed up by darkness, whether he was full of warp or literary and martial arts, people would only remember xu Heng who was a gentleman with a heart.
Xu Heng knew that he was notorious and changed his name to Xu Youzhen at the suggestion of his friend Chen Xun. Xu Youzhen has a hand in water conservancy management. Under Xu Youzhen's rule, the he built were impregnable. Under the background of the tofu slag project of his peers, he successfully won the favor of Emperor Daizong Zhu Qiyu (Zhu Qiyu did not know that Xu Heng was Xu Youzhen).
(Grand Eunuch Cao Jixiang)
1455 AD, the sixth year of Jingtai. Xu Youzhen was transferred to the Beijing Division for his meritorious efforts in controlling the flood. Later, he remained an official until the left vice capital Yushi. This is Xu Youzhen transformed into a vicious wolf, he found the same unwilling wolf Shi Heng and the eunuch Cao Jixiang who wanted to speculate, this group of wolves stared directly at Zhu Qiyu and Yu Qian, vowing to hand blade the two.
The change of the door
As the walls of the Nangong Palace were knocked open, the moment Zhu Qizhen sat on the dragon chair. The wolves won the final victory.
After Emperor Yingzong was released and returned to China, he was imprisoned in the Nangong By Emperor Daizong. In the eighth year of Jingtai, in 1457 AD, Zhu Qiyu became seriously ill. Xu Youzhen, Shi Heng and Cao Jixiang hit it off, and bet the rest of their lives on the treasure of Zhu QiZhen. The change of the door, the villain wins. After Zhu Qizhen re-ascended the throne, he was rewarded with a large number of meritorious men, and Xu Youzhen, Shi Heng, and Cao Jixiang were even more powerful. A group of humeral ministers, such as Shangshu Yuqian of the Bingbu And Wang Wen of the University, were even imprisoned in the Eastern Palace of Gengli and imprisoned for the false charges of Prince Lixiang.
(Zhu Qizhen regains the throne)
Zhu Qizhen is also a reasonable person, and after sending Yu Qian and other national heroes to prison, he regretted it and wanted to let Yu Qian go. However, Xu Youzhen made a statement to Zhu Qizhen:
Yu Qian is not removed, and the reset is not correct.
One sentence made Zhu Qizhen feel cruel, and at the same time, He sent The Great Hero of Yu Qian to the Huangquan Road.
When Yu Qian was raided, there was only a python robe and a sword given by the emperor, and there was no excess property. This made the Jinyi guards on the spot all stunned, they were solemn in respect of humility, and they worshiped the national hero despite Cao Jixiang's torture.
Xu Youzhen, the culprit who died of Qian. His fate was also extremely tragic. First, after entering the cabinet, he inflated himself, and then fell out with Cao and Shi, but he could not fight the great eunuch and the fierce general, and was forced to stay at home. Knowing that Cao and Shi had fallen, he never entered the dynasty as an official again. Not because he didn't want to, but because he couldn't.
How could Emperor Xianzong not know that Xu Youzhen, who slandered and killed the heroes of the Ming Dynasty, was known to the Manchu Dynasty wen and wu about his ugly face.
No matter how talented he is, he is just a shameless person who steps on the blood of heroes.
Even if he can't be blamed for everything, because of his suspicion and narrow-mindedness, he personally killed the hero who saved the country, and he will always be engraved on the column of shame of history and commented on by future generations. Whether his name is Xu Heng or Xu Youzhen.
