On the way to the Emperor Taiji's march, a pheasant flew into the tent, and soon the Mongolian princess came to the door

On September 1, the eleventh year of the Mandate of Heaven (tomorrow, 1626), Emperor Taiji ascended the throne of Houjin Khan.

Huang Taiji ascended to the Khan's throne, which did not mean that he could sit in the palace and give orders from then on, just like in the company's entrepreneurial period, the position of chairman was a position that was more difficult than any other position, and he had to do it himself inside and out. Therefore, in addition to dealing with the Ming Dynasty, the Emperor Taiji at that time also had to deal with the Mongol departments, so he often led troops to fight and slept in the wind.

In the eighth year of Tiancong (the seventh year of Ming Chongzhen, 1634), Emperor Taijizheng led his troops to conquer Lin Dan Khan, the last Great Khan of the Yuan Dynasty, and drove Lin Dan Khan all the way to the qinghai area of southern Mo.

One day on the way to the march, Huang Taiji was camping on the narit River, preparing to rest, when he suddenly found a pheasant flying into the tent (there was a pheasant, flying into the imperial palace). Of course, while marching in the wilderness, a pheasant flew in, and Huang Taiji didn't care too much.

But not long after, a Mongolian princess came to the door.

This Mongol princess, named Borjigit Batmakh, was the fourth Fujin of Lin Dan Khan, then known as Dou Tumen Fujin.

Why did she find Huang Taiji here?

Originally, Lin Dan Khan was chased all the way by Emperor Taiji and fled to the Qinghai area, due to the lack of clothing and food in this area, many of his subordinates also defected to Houjin, and in the eighth year of Tiancong (ming Chongzhen seven years, 1634), the last great khan of the Yuan Dynasty unfortunately contracted smallpox and died of illness in the Qinghai steppe.

As the widow of Lin Dan Khan, after losing her husband and land, she could only lead more than 6,000 of her subordinates to find the big camp of the Emperor Taiji and come to the rescue. On the 28th day of the leap month, she was escorted down by her subordinates to Emperor Taiji, saying that she would submit to Houjin and asking Emperor Taiji to marry her.

Huang Taiji wanted to accept her at that time, but he couldn't agree to it directly, busy saying, no, no.

The Great Belledet Shan and others present saw the situation and said busily, Dou Tumen Fujin can "commit himself to good luck and return from a different place today, and his work is real because of heaven, if he does not accept it, he will not be able to blow heaven's will." ...... The emperor cultivates virtue and righteousness, allows the heavenly way, so the heavens are in the emperor, and the special blessing is blessed. This means that Dou Tumen Fujin can come to submit to Jin is the arrangement of heaven, and the Emperor Taiji marries her in accordance with Providence, and if she does not marry, it will not be in accordance with Providence.

Huang Taiji thought about it for three days, and suddenly remembered that "when he was a teacher, he was stationed in the Narit River, and there was a Pheasant who flew into the Imperial Palace." Now that the blessings have returned, it is manifested as Providence, so the intention is determined. ”

On that day, a pheasant flew into the tent, which should be a hint from heaven to him, suggesting that he would have a beautiful woman coming to the door in the future. Since it was a divine arrangement, it would not be in accordance with Heaven's will not to marry, so he married Dou Tumen Fujin. Therefore, Emperor Taiji arranged for his subordinates to prepare for the wedding and married Dou Tumen Fujin.

Dou Tumen Fujin, after Emperor Taiji changed his title to Emperor in the first year of Chongde (1636), was given the title of Second Eastern Palace Lady, and in the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652), she was given the title of "Kang Hui" and "Kang Hui Shu Concubine"; in May of the sixth year of Kangxi (1667), Kang Hui ShuFei died.

Huang Taiji married Dou Tumen Fujin, to be honest, this has nothing to do with pheasants, this should be a pretext for Huang Taiji, and Huang Taiji should be more considered to be the political significance of the Mongol return to Jin, just in the second year after he married Dou Tumen Fujin, he married another of Lin Dan Khan's main chambers, Borjigit Namu Zhong, and named her a side Fujin.
