In 2006, "Meizhou Hakka Mountain Song" was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative list projects, under the great attention of governments at all levels and the strong support of all sectors of society, the inheritance, protection and development of "Meizhou Hakka Mountain Song" has achieved good results, and successfully selected as 50 national intangible cultural heritage projects of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The reporter also learned that the "Listen to Mountain Songs" appreciation meeting was a warm-up for the Meizhou Hakka Mountain Song Theory Seminar held on December 25. At that time, provincial and municipal literary and artistic experts and scholars in the field of Hakka mountain songs will jointly discuss the new path of protection, inheritance and development of Hakka mountain songs in Meizhou.
