Allergic and immune diseases include a variety of common, chronic, and recurrent diseases, with a global incidence of more than 30%. Among them, allergic diseases mainly include allergic conjunctivitis, allergic rhinitis, allergic cough, asthma, allergic pneumonia and atopic dermatitis, eczema, urticaria, etc.; immune diseases mainly include rheumatoid arthritis, adult Steel disease, Crohn's disease, pemphigus, bullous pemphigoid, psoriasis, etc.

However, in recent years, the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immune diseases has also developed by leaps and bounds, with the emergence of biological agents and the increasing number of diagnostic and therapeutic methods, and doctors and patients are overwhelmed.

However, at present, dozens of public hospitals and private hospitals in Shenzhen do not have real allergy departments and allergy departments, and the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association do not have professional committees for allergy and immune diseases. Therefore, in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment and research level of allergic and immune diseases in Shenzhen and even the whole country, and promote the multidisciplinary development of allergies and immune diseases, the Shenzhen Health Management Association has set up a professional committee for allergies and immune diseases.

At the inaugural meeting, Professor Chen Hongxiang was elected as the chairman of the first special committee of allergic and immune diseases of Shenzhen Health Management Association, and Chai Bao, director of the Department of Dermatology of Union Shenzhen Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was elected as the executive chairman of the special committee.

Professor Chen Hongxiang said that the purpose of the special committee is to build a communication platform with Shenzhen as the core and radiate the whole country, bring together experts and scholars engaged in basic research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of allergy and immune diseases across the country, give full play to the advantages of various disciplines, work together to promote the development of various related disciplines of allergy and immune diseases in China, continuously improve the level of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of allergy and immune diseases, and promote the standardization of prevention and diagnosis and treatment of allergy and immune diseases in China.
