Wen Peng (1498-1573) zi Shou Cheng, no. Sanqiao, alias Yuyangzi, Sanqiao Jushi, Mr. Guozi, Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu). Wen Zhengming's eldest son. In order to be the first in the Ming Jingting Examination, Xiushui was taught. Dr. Guan Guozijian. Gong calligraphy and painting, especially fine seal carving, Noh poems, there is a "Doctor's Poetry Collection".
Wen Peng first learned Zhong and Wang, and later followed Huaisu, and in his later years, he studied all of them, especially in the seal and li. Book snatchers followed. His father is contemporary with the title of a book, but sometimes he does not like books, although the powerful dare not be strong. Peng's hand kept waving, and the seeker had no ill will. Engraved and sealed, posterity enshrined as the golden rule. The multi-tooth seals made are often engraved by Li Wenfu, a Jinling man, from the ink. Li Shan carved the edge, and the flowers engraved on it were exquisite, and Peng Yiyin belonged to it, and he could not lose his penmanship, so his tooth seal was half out of Li's hand. Peng Hou got the light stone when he was in the southern prison, but he did not cure his teeth, so the name of the frozen stone was shiyan bo in the world. Write ink bamboo, the old pen is vertical and horizontal, straight into the room of the same text. The landscape is lush like Wu Town. He is also good at writing flowers and fruits. Died at the age of seventy-six.
Wen Peng's cursive writing is idle and unruly, staggered, and full of vigor, and is also the head of his father Wen Zhengming and Sun Guoting, and he has seen great skill. Good at writing ink bamboo, old pen vertical and horizontal, straight into the room of the same text. Also works landscapes, the kind of father style, flowers and fruits are also good. Fine calligraphy, together with He Zhen (字主臣, 長卿, 号雪Yu) and called "Wen He". Wen Peng's book "Yueyang LouJi" is based on the Northern Song Dynasty calligrapher Huang Tingjian. His works include "Xiao kai chibi fu" collected by the Liaoning Museum, the "Five Laws of Xingcao Poems" scrolls collected by the Palace Museum, and 19 works of Li, Xing and cursive such as "Lishu Youmeitang" in the Shanghai Museum, and Wen Peng is also good at painting, and there are not many works.
Wen Peng's interpretation of this volume of "Self-Narration Thesis" is based on small letters in Huaisu's "Self-Narrative Thesis" volume, and after passing this article, it is not like his father Wen Zhengming, and the Wei and Jin Xiaokai such as Wang Xizhi's "Theory of Le Yi" are exquisitely painted, the knots are dignified, and the temple atmosphere is very temple. Its solemnity contrasts sharply with Huai Su's "Self-Narration" and its nimble flying.
