Network "experts" recommend the cause of vaccination after 1 year of age
As for why many people advertise vaccinations ≥ 12 months of age or older, the reasons are as follows:
The U.S. professional body mentions that "it is recommended to administer the first dose of measles vaccine at 12-15 months of age";
U.S. professional bodies mention that "vaccination with the measles vaccine before the age of 1 may affect antibodies";
The U.S. professional body recommends that "if the measles vaccine is given before 12 months of age, 2 doses should be re-administered after the age of 1 year".
It seems very reasonable, is this really the case?
Epidemiological background of measles in the United States
Measles vaccination has been conducted in the United States since 1963 and the immunization schedule has been recommended several times.
During the 1-dose programme, the duration of the vaccination was at the age of September 1963, December 1965 and 15 months of age in 1967, adjusted to 2 doses of measles vaccine after the detection of outbreaks in school-age children in 1989, and the first dose was determined since 1994 at 12-15 months of age and the second dose at 4-6 years of age.
By combining epidemiology with constant adjustments to immunization programs and long-term immune coverage, the United States eliminated native measles cases in 2000, and the vast majority of women of childbearing age in the United States have vaccine-induced measles antibodies.
However, even so, the measles antibody situation in the UNITED States infants under 1 year of age is not very good, 7% of babies are born without measles antibodies, 90% of children are 6 months of age measles antibody negative, so for children under 1 year old need to rely on herd immune protection and the use of passive immune agents after infection.
Even so, in 2019, which has the highest number of measles cases in the United States this year, the incidence of infants under 1 year of age (12 months) from January to October is only 13%, which is not the most important age group.
Therefore, measles vaccination for children under 1 year old may not really be necessary in the United States.
Epidemiological background of measles in our country
Unlike the United States, although China began to receive the measles vaccine as early as the 1960s (1965), the number of measles cases in China has been declining since then, and the number of new measles cases in China in 2020 is 2979.
However, on this basis, it is important to pay attention to the age group of onset: the risk of measles in people under 8 months of age can be said to be the highest in all age groups, and the reason is very simple - in recent years, the positive rate of maternal antibodies and antibody levels have decreased year by year, so the mother-borne antibodies of babies after birth have also decreased, resulting in children who have not yet been vaccinated with anesthetic components are at risk of measles.
In other words, there is no need to wait until the age of 1, in fact, there is already a very high risk of measles.

In addition, a study in Tianjin found that 90% of children were not able to receive the hemp-containing vaccine on time (8 months old), mainly because of parents' awareness of the measles vaccine and vaccine hesitation.
In this context, studies have recommended measles vaccination (building an immune barrier) for adults or starting the measles vaccine before 8 months of age.
And many "experts" on the Internet are now insisting that the "foreign" suggestions are the best, most professional, and most authoritative, so blindly publicizing that children should be delayed until 12 years later and then vaccinated with hemp vaccines, which is a very irresponsible statement, which can almost be regarded as harmful to children!
You know, in ancient China, there is a saying called "children have rashes and acne, only to solve the Yama King's buckle", the "pox" mentioned here is the smallpox that has been eliminated worldwide, and the "rash" is the measles that is now introduced.
Here I really want to ask, those "experts" who have repeatedly stressed and recommended that children postpone the first dose of hemp-containing vaccine after the age of 1 in China, are you sensationalizing or pure laziness? Have you really considered the health of children in China?

In fact, there are controlled studies on the 8-month-old vaccination of measles (MMR) vaccine and leprosy (MR) vaccine, which found that there is no statistical difference in the positive rate of antibodies, antibody concentrations, and antibody growth multiples for measles and rubella, and it can be safely and safely vaccinated.

In addition, a meta-analysis also assessed that after receiving the first dose of measles vaccine before 9 months of age, compared with the first dose of measles vaccine received more than 9 months, some antibodies were no different, some antibodies were lower, and in fact it was clear that the first dose of measles vaccine before 9 months of age was beneficial to children in measles-endemic countries – very different from what some "experts" said.
Finally, some European countries also receive hemp-containing vaccines before the age of 1, but unfortunately, some people may see only one United States as professional, authoritative and reliable.
