Hello duck everyone~

Today is another floating cannon that can bring you happiness! This issue of "NO.11 lab" is some interesting gender knowledge:

Love him and let him do the housework!

Speaking of housework, it really gives many small partners a headache. Especially we workers, who seem to be squeezed dry after a day at work, come home and just want to collapse on the bed.

So in the face of a place of debris, the partners began to pull infinitely... Don't worry! The floating cannon has brought a little gospel to the majority of women:

A study published in PLoS One showed that doing housework reduces all-cause mortality and cancer mortality among Chinese men.

The paper explores the relationship between physical activity and all-cause mortality and cancer mortality among the elderly in the Hong Kong community. Physical activity includes:

Physical activities in free time: sports, recreational activities;

Physical activity in non-free time: including light housework and heavy housework;

Among them, light housework and heavy housework include:

Lightweight household chores: dusting, washing dishes, hand washing, ironing, hanging wet clothes, cooking or buying groceries;

Heavy chores: vacuuming, mopping, mopping, window cleaning, car wash, moving furniture, repairs, yard care and caring for others;

The study involved 2,867 subjects with an average age of 72 years who did not have diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer. After 7 to 10.5 years of follow-up, 452 people died of all-cause and 185 died of cancer.

After assessing physical activity levels with the Elderly Physical Activity Scale (PASE), it was found that:

Heavy household chores can significantly reduce all-cause mortality and cancer mortality in men;

Mild household chores can also reduce cancer mortality in men, but the association is not obvious enough;

Regardless of the type of housework, there was no significant effect on women's all-cause mortality and cancer mortality;

Physical activity during free time has no significant effect on men and women.

For this result, the researchers believe there may be 3 explanations:

Participating in more heavy housework will consume more energy, which is conducive to weight loss, thereby promoting good health;

Studies have shown that men's involvement in housework can enhance the sense of purpose in life, making people feel happy and less stressed;

Men who were more involved in heavy household chores were physically stronger.

So, sisters, lazy in the future, ah no, care for the health of your partner, you can let him do the right amount of housework ~ ~

Socioeconomic status is low and sexual frequency is lower

At present, female sexual dysfunction (FSD) has attracted more and more attention, and FSD covers a variety of sexual difficulties that women may experience, including painful sexual intercourse, difficulty reaching orgasm, arousal of libido or low levels of lubrication.

A common measure of FSD is frequency of sexual behavior, and social factors may play an important role in this.

A study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that the lower a woman's socioeconomic status, the less frequently she had sex.

Data from the study, from the 2007-2016 National Health and Nutrition Survey (NHANES), collected participants' household incomes.

The questionnaire was used to survey the "frequency of sexual activity in the past 12 months", which provided two options: "0 to 11 times per year" and "more than 11 times per year".

The final results included 7348 women between the ages of 20 and 59, with an average age of 38.4 years.

To measure socioeconomic status, the researchers used the poverty-to-income ratio (PIR), which ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 indicating that household income is at the poverty level and 5 indicating that household income is 5 times the annual poverty level.

As a result, 26.3% of women reported having 0 to 11 sexual acts per year, and 73.7% of women reported having sex more than 11 times a year.

And women with PIR≥2 reported 0 to 11 times of sexual activity 0 to 11 times a year compared to women with PIR< ≥2. That is, women of lower socioeconomic status also have less frequency of sexual activity.

The authors argue that the likely cause of this outcome is higher stress, incidence of infectious diseases, and worse health among women of lower socioeconomic status.

While low frequency of sexual activity isn't the only measure of FSD, the two are closely related. This study highlights the importance of screening for FSD in people of lower socioeconomic status.

At the same time, it is important to provide affordable treatment options for FSD so that women of all income levels have access to these health services.

The prettier the healthier?! Immunity is actually Yan control

Cough, has been addicted to the vibrato lightsaber transformation of the floating cannon, has long been deeply experienced to see the abs, no, see the happiness of beautiful men and women! As a senior face control, appreciating those super high appearances has become a big way for me to decompress.

Recently, I saw a related study and shared it with friends who have the same hobbies

In February 2022, a study published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences showed that people with high looks may have stronger immunity!

First, the researchers took pictures of 159 men and women with an average age of 20. They then sent the photos to 492 people and had those who viewed them rate them.

At the same time, the researchers also tested the health status and immunity of these 159 men and women, including:

Self-reported health conditions;

Levels of inflammation in the body, white blood cell count and composition;

Proliferation of the response of leukocytes in vitro to immunostimulants, phagocytosis of E. coli biological particles, NK cell-mediated lysis of target tumor cells, and growth of Staphylococcus aureus in isolated plasma;

The results found:

Men and women with higher facial attractiveness had a higher rate of Escherichia coli bioparticle phagocytosis, and also had higher amounts of basophils and immune-related NK cells;

In the blood of men and women with higher facial attractiveness, Staphylococcus aureus multiplies more slowly;

In women's eyes, higher levels of NK cells are higher in men with higher attractiveness.

All in all, people with high facial attractiveness have higher immunity.

According to the researchers' analysis, the possible mechanism is that the disease will affect the appearance of people, and good skin and bright eyes can reflect the good health of people, and the human love for high appearance may be evolved, because humans prefer to leave healthy offspring with their partners.

Of course, this mechanism is less obvious in modern times, because we have a high level of medical care, which can help people with low immunity to still have a healthy body.

Good! When the article is sent out, I will dump it on my girlfriend, don't say that I like good-looking people is superficial, ahem!!!

Find a partner to recommend those who "wear a watch"!

Harm, now want to judge whether a person is suitable for themselves, there are simply too many strange ways, constellations, blood types, and even some mysterious omens and details...

In fact, instead of valuing these metaphysical factors, let's take a look at what scientific research says. A paper published in Peer J found that people who wear watches are more responsible.

The paper contains three experiments:

In the first experiment, 112 men and women were recruited and them assessed their personality on their own with ten personality scales (TIPI), which contained five personality dimensions (extroversion, easy-going, responsibility, emotional stability, and openness), and counted whether they had the habit of wearing a watch (at least for a year).

It turned out that participants who often wore watches felt more conscientious and responsible. And watch wearers scored lower on extroversion, ease and openness, but higher on emotional stability.

In the second experiment, the researchers increased the number of participants to 638. Similarly, participants who often wore watches thought they were more serious and had lower scores for extroversion and openness.

In a third experiment, involving 90 men and women, the researchers asked them to arrive at a familiar place at a specified time and tested whether they were late.

It turned out that people who wore watches arrived significantly earlier and less likely to be late.

Researchers believe that people who have the habit of wearing watches will be more serious and responsible. They have a stronger sense of time and may also be more disciplined, diligent, and perfectionistic.

However, in the end, the floating cannon still wants to tell everyone that it is right to choose a suitable partner, but be sober, duck does not have to rush to make a conclusion through only a small point.

Slowly get along, sincere communication, the most important criterion is actually how you feel in this relationship, maybe appearance can deceive people, but the heart will not.

Today's "NO.11lab" is over, and the floating cannon is really reluctant to say goodbye to everyone duck~

I hope that today's research will not only make you relax, but also help you a little. What aspects of research do you want to see, welcome to leave a message to tell me, and finally look forward to everyone's forwarding and praise Oh!

I hope that friends will continue to pay attention to the "Eleventh Clinic", and we will also send you more hard-core science that is helpful to women in the next few days!

I love the world.
