Yesterday, Inner Mongolia ushered in a strong cold air, the temperature plummeted everywhere, and the weather was cold. At the same time, there is snowfall in many places, according to monitoring, yesterday at 08 o'clock, a total of 13 stations in the region have appeared light snow, the range of between 0.1-1.2 mm. Snowfall is mainly found in most of Baotou City, the northwest and southeast of Xilin Gol League, most of Chifeng City, and the western part of Tongliao City.

Significant cooling and sustained low temperature weather will adversely affect the agriculture and animal husbandry industry in Inner Mongolia, among which the temperature in most pastoral areas in the east continues to decrease, and the windy and cooling weather will cause certain difficulties for livestock to graze and feed, resulting in livestock loss. This, combined with the recent low level of precipitation, has created conditions for infection with diseases and parasites that, in severe cases, may result in the death of livestock.

The meteorological department reminds that the cold air activities in Inner Mongolia are frequent in winter, and the public needs to pay attention to temperature changes and add clothes in time.
