A few days ago, the Anhui Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics issued the "Notice of the Anhui Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau on Announcing the Selection Results of the "Provincial Museum Youth Education Excellence Course Competition". The circular pointed out that in order to vigorously carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, red culture and advanced socialist culture, cultivate and practice the core socialist values of young people, based on the rich and profound historical culture, red culture and advanced cultural heritage of the museum in our province, in accordance with the spirit of the Ministry of Education and other documents, after the declaration, expert review, comprehensive evaluation and publicity of various units, the Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics selected ten excellent course projects and six excellent course shortlisted projects of the "Provincial Museum Youth Education Excellence Course Competition". The course "Copper Capital by Fire" designed by our library was successfully selected as one of the "Top Ten Excellent Course Projects".
The cultural relics course of "Furnace Fire Reflecting Copper Capital" takes the cultural relics collected by Tongling City Museum "Luojiacun Da lian slag" and "Dragon Ear Bird Pattern" as the main line, and uses detailed materials to introduce "When can the history of mining and casting in Tongling be traced back to when?" through vivid and interesting forms such as explanations, animations, and questions. "How high is Tongling's smelting and casting achievements?" Etc., it comprehensively told the glorious mining and smelting history of Tongling in the past 4,000 years, and stimulated the students' love for the motherland and their pride in their hometown!
In the next step, the Municipal Museum will use its own unique cultural relics resources to set up cultural relics-related courses, introduce cultural relics, and conduct ideological education for the public, especially young people. Give play to the role of patriotic education bases, promote social education courses into campuses and grassroots, and do a good job in relevant research and study activities.
