Recently, in accordance with the requirements of the "Notice of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Anhui Province and the Department of Education of Anhui Province on Carrying Out the Series of Activities of "One Million Teenagers Entering the Museum" (Anhui Secretary [2021] No. 55) and the "Notice of the Anhui Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau on Submitting the Works Exhibited in the Provincial Youth Painting Exhibition of "I Paint Cultural Relics in the Museum" (Anhui Cultural Relics Bohan [2021] No. 198), the "Cultural Relics I Paint in the Museum" was selected by various units after declaration, expert review, comprehensive review and publicity. Wuhu City Museum, the collection of two rivers in one museum, the ancient civilization in one place. The exterior walls of the museum are made of coarse ore stone and printed with palindromics in order to express the meaning of the museum's "spirit stone". The museum and the planning hall reflect each other, rigid and soft, symbolizing the opening of the stone and the jade, forming a "two rivers holding jade", implying the bright prospects of Wuhu's future development.
In 2022, Wuhu City Museum will also carry out a series of activities of "traveling with the museum", inviting cultural celebrities as speakers, through the two main lines of activities of "there are mountains and rivers and rivers and culture, big rivers and large lakes big dreams", taking the museum's collection as the entry point, the earliest human activity relics in Eurasia represented by the Leprosy Mountain Herringbone Cave, the Wuhu bronze civilization represented by Dagong Mountain and Shenshan Mountain, the legend of Zhang Xiaoxiang represented by Taotang (Jinghu), and the modern architectural complex represented by Yugeng Mountain and Fanluo Mountain. A total of 8 activities, including Wuhu poetry culture represented by Tianmen Mountain and Wuhu Huishang culture represented by Qingyi River, systematically and comprehensively displayed the history and culture of Wuhu.
