The police in Wenling, Zhejiang Province, cracked an extraordinarily large cross-provincial smuggling and selling of cattle and blinds

Taizhou, December 16 (Reporter Fan Yubin) On the 16th, the Public Security Bureau of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, held a press briefing to report on the results of the Taizhou police's special operation to crack down on food and drug ring knowledge crimes "Kunlun 2020".

According to the report, after more than 2 months of continuous combat, the Wenling police in Taizhou successfully smashed an extraordinarily large cross-provincial smuggling and selling of cattle blinds operated by "one-stop" operations, arrested 16 criminal suspects, destroyed 4 dens involved in the case, and seized more than 45.4 tons of smuggled cattle blinds raw materials, finished products, and semi-finished products.

Suspicious food processing plants

Mr. Chen, who lives in Zeguo Town, Wenling City, loves to eat beef leaves on weekdays. In July this year, when Mr. Chen was picking beef blinds at the Zeguo Vegetable Farm as usual, a vendor recommended the "Liming" brand beef blinds for him, saying that the price was cheaper than other brands, and the taste was good, only 20 yuan a pound. Mr. Chen immediately paid for a bag, but when he returned home, he found that the cow blind leaf had a strange smell, which was different from the cow leaf he had bought before.

Mr. Chen carefully examined the text on the packaging of Niu Shuye and found that the processing plant of the "Liming" brand Niu Shuye was the Liming Food Factory near his home.

With doubts, Mr. Chen called the complaint telephone number of the market supervision and management department. After preliminary verification, the market supervision and management department found that Liming Food Factory was illegally processing a batch of cattle blinds of unknown origin. The market supervision and management department immediately provided relevant clues to the public security organs.

Sales network throughout multiple provinces

After receiving the report, the Wenling police immediately launched an investigation and found that every once in a while, the pickup trucks of Liming Food Factory would drive to Taizhou Road bridge, connect with the large trucks with Shandong license plates and hand over the goods, and then return with a full load.

After further investigation, these large trucks with Shandong license plates drove from Tengzhou, Shandong to Taizhou, and the cars were full of cattle blinds. The police judged that Shandong is likely to be a source of goods.

Subsequently, the Wenling police reported this clue to the Taizhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Food and Drug Ring Detachment, and the Taizhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Food and Drug Ring Detachment quickly opened the "three-level linkage" major and important case crackdown mechanism, and immediately dispatched the elite police forces of the public security organs at the city and county levels to set up a special class to carry out the investigation.

During the investigation in Shandong, the police found that at three or four o'clock in the morning, there were always large trucks parked in front of the cold storage, and then there would be stevedores who would move boxes of cattle and louvers on the car into the cold storage.

After 2 months of meticulous investigation, the special case team preliminarily determined that this was an extraordinarily large cross-provincial smuggling and selling of cattle and hundreds of leaves criminal gang, and gradually found out the operation of the entire chain of the gang.

The main offender, Hu Mouli, had many years of experience in the production of aquatic products in Tengzhou in his early years. Hu Mouli has a son and a daughter, and he arranged for his son to manage the cold storage in Tengzhou for a long time, responsible for the receipt and delivery of frozen cattle louver raw materials, and directly sold some raw materials to Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui and other places. His daughter opened a food factory in Wenling Zeguo, processing and packaging some frozen beef blinds and selling them to hot pot restaurants and vegetable farms in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Taizhou and other places.

Unscrupulous traders who are lustful for profit

A few days ago, the Wenling Municipal Public Security Bureau, together with the Food and Drug Ring Investigation Detachment of the Taizhou Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Wenling Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, simultaneously carried out a centralized network collection operation for the relevant personnel involved in the case in Wenling and Shandong, and arrested a total of 16 people involved in the case.

At the same time, a total of 12 tons of raw materials, finished products and semi-finished products of cattle were seized at a processing point in a village in Zeguo Town. At a processing point in a village in Daxi Town, Wenling, about 1 ton of raw materials, finished products and semi-finished products of cattle blinds was seized. About 8 tons of raw materials for frozen cattle blinds were seized in the cold storage of another village in Zeguo. In the Tengzhou Taoran cold storage, 22.4 tons of raw materials for frozen cattle louvers were seized. A large truck transporting goods from Tengzhou to Wenling was also seized, but it had not yet been unloaded, and it was loaded with 2 tons of frozen cattle shutter raw materials.

After interrogation, since March 2019, Hu Mouli has purchased more than 300 tons of raw materials smuggled from the United States without inspection and quarantine, and then sold them to the outside world for profit. These cattle louver raw materials are transported by large trucks and stored in Tengzhou cold storage. In order to avoid inspection by the relevant departments, the unloading time is usually in the early morning. Among them, the Liming Food Factory in Zeguo Town received and illegally processed more than 180 tons of cattle blinds.

It is worth mentioning that in the processing process, in order to achieve the effect of cleaning, weight gain and whitening, the above-mentioned cattle louvers have added caustic soda and hydrogen peroxide with strong irritation when foaming.

It is understood that under the leadership of the main criminal Hu Mouli, his daughter, son-in-law, son, parents and many other people jointly participated in this criminal activity. What is even more exaggerated is that after the ex-wife Jiang Mouqing of the main criminal Hu Mouli divorced him, because he saw that the processing of cattle blinds was profitable, he and his current boyfriend opened an unlicensed black processing point in Wenling Daxi, purchased raw materials from Hu Mouli, and engaged in the production of aquatic products such as cattle blinds. The gang has an orderly division of labor, illegally profited millions of yuan, owned Porsche, Infiniti, Lexus, Audi and other luxury cars, and purchased 4 properties in Taizhou and Shandong.

At present, the 16 criminal suspects involved in the case have been criminally detained in accordance with the law, and 5 of them have been arrested according to law. The case is still under further investigation. (End)
