Yesterday, "Yu Garden under the Sun - Shanghai Painters SketchIng Exhibition" was unveiled in The Pavilion of Listening to Tao Pavilion in Yu Garden, and More than 80 oil paintings, watercolors, pen paintings, and sketches created by 16 artists such as Zhang Anpu, Chen Xiejun, Li Lei, Zhang Chuanwu, etc., depicted the scenery of Yu Garden.

Yu Garden is located in the old city of Shanghai, is the representative of Jiangnan Garden, Yu Garden garden has Sui Tang, Iron Lion, Fast Lou, Deyue Lou, Yu Linglong, Jiyu Water Corridor, Tingtao Pavilion, Han Bi Lou, Inner Garden Meditation Hall, Ancient Opera Stage and other pavilions and pavilions, as well as rockeries, ponds and other more than 40 ancient buildings. Painter Zhang Anpu's pen painting watercolor depicts Yu Garden from all angles, Zhang Anpu told reporters that since he was a child, he is very familiar with Yu Garden, and the scenery in Yu Garden is deeply imprinted in his mind, so his Yu Garden is changeable, there are pavilions and pavilions, there are also brilliant lights in the interior of Qizao Pavilion, pen painting pays attention to leaving blanks, Zhang Anpu also filled in his own description of this work in the blank space, a few words, quite like the inscriptions of the ancients.
In the Pavilion of Listening to Tao in Yu Garden, the works have different styles. The painter Zhang Chuanwu stood in Yu Garden and overlooked Pudong, so that the Yu Garden, which was born in 462, was eager to "dialogue" with the Shanghai Center, the tallest building in China, and a long scroll "Yu Garden • Shanghai Center" outlined the new appearance of Shencheng since the birth of the Communist Party of China, which made people stop and be fascinated. Ying Xiaojie's "Nine-Curved Bridge" provides a new viewing angle from a cross-sectional perspective, and the empty bridge seems to be full of sound under the sunlight.
The person in charge of the Yuyuan Garden Management Office said that "Yu Garden under the Sun" not only highlights the cultural characteristics of Jiangnan, but also reflects the cultural characteristics of the Shanghai School, and also contains the characteristics of red culture, depicting the great changes in Shencheng in the past century, the new appearance of reform and opening up.
