On December 5, 1949, Yang Jinxing immediately ran to Chengdu after the liberation of Chongqing.
After fleeing to Chengdu, he accepted the task assigned by the leader of the secret service organization and received 1165 silver dollars. He was supposed to start his next stealth mission, but he didn't expect that during his trip to the mission site, the PLA would be one step ahead of them.
In order to save his life, he immediately absconded to Nanchong, Sichuan.
On his way to abscond, he met local residents of Nanchong County. In August 1953, the country ushered in the first universal suffrage, and in this time, Yang Dafa's false identity was exposed. In order not to investigate who this person really is, the investigators conducted a series of investigations into Yang Dafa in the name of poverty alleviation.
After being arrested, he was sentenced to death
In the investigation, they found that there was indeed the existence of Yang Dafa, but its traces disappeared very early.
For this reason, investigators increasingly felt that Yang Dafa might be a hidden agent.
In order to find real evidence, investigators decided to find a photo of Yang Dafa and let other agents identify it. Yang Dafa was very cautious, and when others called him to take a picture, he politely refused. After hiding from the first fifteen, the president asked everyone to take a group photo.
Because of this group photo, Yang Dafa's fox tail was exposed.
After the investigation department obtained the photo, he gave the photo to the imprisoned agents for identification, and after the agents identified, they finally determined that it was Yang Jinxing, who had tortured and killed the martyr.
When the investigation department heard this result, it was furious and immediately made a careful plan for Yang Jinxing's arrest. In June 1955, the Investigation Department successfully tricked Yang Dafa out of the village through a plan and arrested him. Yang Jinxing was very clever, and when he was first arrested, he resolutely refused to admit that Yang Dafa was a fake name. In the face of Yang Jinxing's denial, investigators put a series of evidence in front of him.
Eventually, because of this evidence, Yang Jinxing confessed to his crime.
At 11 p.m. that night, Yang Jinxing was transferred to Chongqing Shibanpo Prison. At that time, the director of Chongqing was very happy to hear that Yang Jinxing had been arrested, and immediately interrogated him, in which Yang Jinxing confessed, and after he became a spy, he killed more than 300 martyrs such as the general and the secretary of the first party committee. Hearing this result, the interrogator was both sad and angry, and eventually he reported the result.
On May 16, 1958, the Chongqing Intermediate People's Court sentenced Yang Jinxing to death.
