Two. The main force of the rebels, the Ma Family Army
After discovering that the troops of the Second Company were missing, we immediately sent troops to support, and when we arrived in Iwu, we engaged in a fierce battle with the rebels, which lasted for a whole day, but we did not gain any benefits, still suffered heavy casualties, and finally returned to the team with few people. The rebels gathered more than 700 people to attack, and among these 700 people were many ethnic minorities. The main force of the rebel army was the main force of the former cavalry fifth army, the Ma Family Army.
Three. Fry into a pot of porridge
At that time, the second company of troops against the rebels was already heavily depleted, which made this defensive battle particularly difficult.

The rebels launched another attack on April 16, this time the rebels seemed to be very confident, our rescue force was attacked by the rebels while passing through the Poplar Ditch, and we did not react, and we were killed by the rebels at the end of the road, with more than half of the casualties. After this battle, the rebels seemed to have become more energetic, and they struck at our camp, thinking that they had caught our troops off guard and were rejoicing.
Unexpectedly, the troops of our Second Company were hiding in the shadows, and there came a fierce shelling, which blew up the rebels like ants on a hot pot, and people turned over on their horses.
