According to the data released by Daily Interactive, in the third quarter of 2021, huawei's brand market share in the domestic 5G mobile phone market reached 30.7%. Vivo ranked second with a share of 16.1%, and OPPO ranked third with 14.6%. Followed by iPhone, Xiaomi, Honor, realme, OnePlus and Samsung, the market share is 12.5%, 10.5%, 9.7%, 2.7%, 1.1%, and 0.9% respectively.
It has to be said that Huawei is indeed too strong in the mobile phone market, and has been firmly ranked first in China before being restricted, and it is also vaguely surpassing Samsung to rank first in the global market. Since last year's Huawei Mate40 series, Huawei has hardly released any new 5G machines, and the newly listed are 4G mobile phones. Even though it has lagged behind its peers by a full year, Huawei's market share of 5G mobile phones still ranks first, and it is significantly ahead of the second and third places. If Huawei is not limited, the results should be more eye-catching now.
However, in the distribution of 5G mobile phone models, Apple is going to lead other brands. In the Top20 list, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max ranked in the top two, accounting for 6.6% and 3.3% respectively. The following models are from Huawei, namely Huawei nova 7, P40 Pro, Mate30, Mate30 Pro, P40, accounting for between 2.7% and 3.2%.
Apple only launches one generation of iPhones every year, and the iPhone 12 happens to be the first product to support 5G, helping Apple occupy a large share in the 5G mobile phone market and becoming the 5G mobile phone with the highest market share. The strategy of domestic brands is completely different, and the models cover different positioning in the middle and high end, so it is difficult to have particularly eye-catching data on a single model, but the comprehensive results are still better than Apple.
Huawei's Mate series and P series, as two flagship series, have very impressive annual sales, and it is estimated that they will not be much worse than the iPhone in the global market. If the Mate40 series is not affected by chip supply, the first place will not necessarily be the iPhone 12.
