"Juyan Hanjian" is named after the discovery of these Hanjian in the Juyan area of Ejina Banner in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China and the Jinshui Jinguan in Jinta County, east of Jiayuguan in Gansu Province. Among the many Han Jian, "Juyan Han Jian" has the largest number and the most extensive influence.

In 1930, more than 850 Hanjian relics and more than 50 Han Dynasty relics, such as hemp paper, sealing mud, pens, stones, woodcuts, etc., were first found at the Site of the Han Dynasty Beacon Tower in the Ejina River Basin of Inner Mongolia, and then more than 11,000 Hanjian were excavated in 60 areas of Juyan, and 19,637 Hanjian were excavated in the autumn of 1972 and the summer and autumn of 1976. The forms of Jian Mu are Jane (Za), Two Lines, Mu, Seal Inspection, Letter Inspection, Fu, Yao, Zhen, Cutting Clothes, Book, etc.

These documents include edicts, edicts, books, records, books, etc., which are very rich in content, recording the political, military, economic, cultural, scientific and technological, legal, philosophical, religious, ethnic and other aspects of the two Han Dynasties. It is known as one of the "Four Great Discoveries" of Chinese archival circles in the 20th century.

Juyan Hanjian's font is mainly Lishu and Zhangcao, mixed with a small amount of Han seals and decorative calligraphy. The pen has the circular flow of the seal book, and some of the side parts retain the knot shape of the seal book, and there are also the wave strokes of the book and the shape of the flat square, which is an important physical evidence in the evolution of the book.

Most of them were written by middle- and lower-level officials and soldiers who guarded the frontier at that time, and some were written by merchants who traveled west, so their writing style showed the diverse style and charm of Han Dynasty folk calligraphy more intensively, with the flowing and simple natural beauty. It is not only rough and spicy wild, but also full of generous and magnificent simplicity, which provides a part of the most complete and dated ink for the study of the history of the development of writing and the history of calligraphy art from the middle of the Western Han Dynasty to the early Eastern Han Dynasty.
