On May 1, 1881, Cai Gongshi was born in Jiujiang, Jiangxi, he studied history at a young age, he witnessed the corruption and incompetence of the Manchu Qing, only 18 years old he founded the "Prudent Dyeing Zhai" to promote the revolution, after being wanted by the Qing government, he fled to Japan, met a person who influenced his life, "Sun Yat-sen", and joined the League, using the "Minbao" as a position, engaged in revolutionary propaganda against the imperial system and establishing a republic, became a staunch revolutionary, and then he participated in the Xinhai Revolution, Yuan Shikai restored, and he went to the "Second Revolution" A few years later, he accompanied the National Revolutionary Army in the Northern Expedition.

In 1928, Cai Gong was then the field political commissar and director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the General Headquarters of the National Revolutionary Army, and on May 1, 1928, the Tenth Army of the Northern Expeditionary Army entered Jinan; on May 3, 1928, the Japanese Kou was afraid that the Northern Expeditionary Army would complete the reunification of China and could no longer allow it to invade, so he sent the Sixth Division to create the "Jinan Massacre" that shocked the world under the pretext of "protecting overseas Chinese".

Cai Gongshi, who was then the director of the Foreign Affairs Department, went to Jinan to negotiate with the Japanese Kou, but what no one expected was that that night, the Japanese Kou actually broke into the Negotiation Office and forcibly searched, and tore up and trampled on the portrait of Sun Yat-sen. Cai Gongshi stepped forward and solemnly appealed in Japanese: "This is China's diplomatic organ, and your rude behavior has seriously undermined international law."
But before he could finish speaking, the Japanese Kou knocked him over and tied up and beat all 16 diplomats, and When Cai Gong, who had been beaten to the point of being unable to move, was still unyielding in the face of the atrocities of the Japanese Kou, he continued to rebuke in Japanese: "You barbarians, you do not know diplomatic etiquette at all, this is not what a civilized country should have."

The other colleagues were touched by the husband, and they also scolded the Japanese Kou together, and the cruel Japanese Kou put away his smile, stabbed the bayonet hard into the mouth of the husband, and rotated vigorously, the husband's tongue was cut off, the eyes were also gouged out, and then the remaining diplomats in the office were concocted, all shot and burned, and in the days that followed, the Japanese Kou shot the prisoners, raped the women, and slaughtered the people.
However, Old Chiang Kai-shek, who held ten times the strength of the Japanese and Kosovars, sent an urgent telegram, ordering the officers of the Tenth Army not to shoot and not to resist. The soldiers of the Tenth Army, who witnessed their compatriots being ravaged by devils, rose up in defiance of Lao Jiang's prohibition, and Lao Jiang had no choice but to issue another order to give up the city of Jinan and withdraw the Tenth Army.
On May 11, more Japanese invade Jinan, and the massacre intensified, killing and wounding more than 10,000 Chinese soldiers and civilians. In 1930, the overseas Chinese leader Chen Jiageng cast a bronze statue of Mr. Cai Shigong in Singapore, Mr. Chua Shigong, who was dressed in a military uniform and had a resolute gaze, as if he was watching what he was looking forward to.
