It is reported that the 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line project (TM18) of Tianma Display Technology began construction in May 2020, and in May 2021, the full structure of the main plant was capped, refreshing the construction speed of the same industry and the same scale panel plant. On September 13, 2021, the first core equipment distiller of the project was successfully moved in, and according to the company's plan, it is expected to achieve product lighting in the first half of 2022.
According to the relevant person in charge of Shenzhen Tianma, the design capacity of the project is 48,000 flexible display substrates per month, which is currently the largest single body in China and the most advanced flexible AMOLED single factory in the world, and it is also the largest single high-tech manufacturing project in the history of Xiamen, which will help the flexible AMOLED production capacity of Tianma operation and management rank among the top three in the world after completion.
